#15 Windows Port

I needed a useful tool for checking over a thousand
HTML files generated by an HTML generator. The
existing TIDY wrappers were pretty useless. So I built a
rather fancy GUI interface for Windows, which has been
a real pleasure to use. I'd like to spend some time
finishing up the "bells and whistles" parts of it and
submit it for distribution via the Tidy group. I was unable
to locate the protocol for doing this. Please let mew
know what I should do.

I can contacted as newcomer@flounder.com.

I'm submitting this as a "feature request" although I
have actually implemented a solution to the feature I
would have requested. It seemed to most reasonable of
the newsgroups to submit it to. If it isn't, please forward
it to whomever worries about these things.

The current implementation, although extremely useful,
is Not Yet Ready For Prime Time, but if anyone wants to
see it in its current form, I can submit either source or
executable for review. Be aware that repairing the
source is not high on my priority list (I have to fix the
XML-to-HTML generator tool instead), so that area is a
bit ill-defined, and one of the bells-and-whistles
additions is to allow setting all those configuration
variables. It is written in Microsoft Visual Studio V6

I have moved this bug report from Feature Requests to User
Contributions. For "one-off" solutions, posting a URL here is one way of
    getting our attention.

We can add a link to the main Tidy web page, but we prefer that such
links point to software that will continue to be maintained by the

I will probably contact you directly in EMail for more details.
