Do NOT install this powerful tool, it is not for those that rely only on scary alerts, and do not understand what that alert actually means. Stick to windows Task Manager, it's all you need. This is a very advanced Task Manager, with a unique feature set, and still best Task Manager, any "Power User" can get. PH2 is only let down by it being "End Of Life". I've used this for a decade, sad to see it end. The good news is it's getting a new version, and a new name. System Informer The changeover is taking far too long, but it's free software, it takes longer when the devs, have other jobs to pay the bills, so we must wait. There is a "Nightly" build, of the last PHv3 Build on main site I can't put it link here, so search for it Build: 3.0.4953 [13th of June, 2022] It has Dark mode (At Last), and is fairly stable, main issues are caused by Microsoft's certification for Kernel level access, and that is the thing causing the delays, but for that it's good, but not for the squeamish. Stick to the last official PH v2.39 release, until System Informer is done.

You can analyze the system processes in the smallest detail, you can see the consumption of GPU, CPU, and Memory in real time and much more. I use the Nightly experimental branch and even receiving updates almost daily, it is very stable!

Advertises more than it offers. You can only identify malware with this program if you have an in-depth and up to date knowledge of malicious processes. Also, this program is an "open source" rip off of Microsoft's Process Monitor/Explorer. I recommend downloading those two straight from Microsoft's teat to save yourself the worry of non-trustworthy downloads.

Really don't trust this program. It installed a service when I tried to terminate another program. The service doesn't show up on my service list, and there doesn't seem to be a way to cleanly uninstall the program.

yeah, quite useful software, but definitely makes me angry the 'grid' that doesnt customize itself when size of the window is changed or maximized, you definitely need to fix that in future, i like the refresh interval feature, also i like the how the save button works, like it writes to file just like you see it on screen, ++ for that, opacity feature makes it cool, overall 5/5, great software. thanks for this, much better than the default task manager, plus it has a task manager button so you can switch whatever you want. thanks.
