It's a shame that fantastic software like Notepad++ has so few reviews. However, I am happy to give my contribution. The software is very feature-rich, very stable and available in various distributions. One of the features that I particularly like is the possibility of activating highlighting for different types of languages and the possibility of monitoring changes in a file in real time

Best notepad

The best notepad.

I've been using this program for years. I used Ultra Edit (very expensive) before this but found the plugins for Notepad++ a huge benefit even over the other fancy expensive text editors. The only wish is they ported this to Mac and Linux. I hope they continue the development on this awesome program for decades to come. Thank you developers!

IMHO the best notepad. Very versatile, many functions

It's exactly my working horse :) I can't imagine my job without Notepad++.

I see no vices in this app. It is easy to use, it updates very frequently. It looks very nice and it has humongous amount of options. I can use it to scribble or to edit the website code. It is my go to app everywhere I go.

This program is very complete and extremely light. It has many tools and stands out for its versatility.

I really like the feature, that how this text editor retain my notes.. You can leave for 1year your content on this editor :)

There is nothing better than this. I can use it as a notepad, I can use it to make my grocery list and I can use it to check my websites code. Fantastic tool!
