Why isn't there a recent tidy tgz file available to download on CVS? I only see the original 04aug00 release for download. As is, I would have to go through the entire directory tree downloading individual source files to get everything I need. Surely this isn't what is intended? Thank you.

You need to get the source tree using CVS. Not ideal but that the way it is.

I want to see a recent tar ball. The reason is that, other third party projects seem to trust only on the tar-balled version of tidy.

There seems to be many people suffering from troubles caused by bugs because they use applications linked with old libtidy. If they were able to get applications that was compiled with new libtidy, the bugs will be removed.

I understand that "get source code from CVS" is the way this project do. But, I think it would BETTER providing a tar-ball for both users and developers, for users, they would get less bug troubles, for developers, they would get less bug reports that is already fixed.

    # On the other hand, it's a strange manner that people trust only on the tar-balls. :-p
