  • VPython-wx

VPython is an easy-to-use 3D graphics module for Python.

VPython makes it easy even for novices to write Python programs that generate navigable real-time 3D animations. Starting with VPython 6, it is based on the cross-platform library wxPython, hence the project name VPython-wx. At vpython.org you will find extensive documentation, which is also included in the VPython installers. There you will also find links to the installers that are stored here at sourceforge.net. To give an idea of how easy VPython is, the following two-line program generates a rotatable and zoomable 3D cube: from visual import * box() A related project is GlowScript (glowscript.org), which provides similar ease of use for JavaScript or CoffeeScript programs, which run in a browser. The source code for VPython-wx is available at https://github.com/BruceSherwood/vpython-wx

  • Grasshopper Web App Icon

    Grasshopper Web App

Web App to control Bticino MyHome using OpenWebNet

Grasshopper is an open source and free (speech & beer) responsive-design web application to control Bticino MyHome. VALUES: Use any device Since Grasshopper is a browser-based application, you can use a browser on any device to access Grasshopper. Thanks to its responsive-design support, the Grasshopper interface will adapt to the screen-size of your device. Choice of server-platform Grasshopper is a web application that can run from different web servers. The Grasshopper appliance runs on DietPi with Lesp (Nginx+SQLite+PHP). The Grasshopper application has been tested on Lesp and LAMP+SQLite. (Both documented in following chapters). The only requirement is that SQLite is used as a database. You can read more about this in following chapters. Choice of MyHome Gateway Grasshopper can communicate not only through the official Bticino Gateways (eg. MH20x / F452 / F454) but also network-connected touchscreens can be used (eg. 3,5" / 10")

  • Acoustic Research Tool (ART) Icon

    Acoustic Research Tool (ART)

Acoustic Simulation Library for Frequency and Time Domain Simulations.

ART is a flexible simulation framework for wind instruments. It includes a growing library of modelling elements. So far bore discontinuities, branches, tone holes, cylindrical and conical tubes, Bessel horns and bent tubes are available for frequency domain modelling. In the time domain generic bidirectional propagation elements, scattering elements, fractional delays, convolution with reflection functions and general z-domain networks are available and can be described using MuParserX expressions. Cylindrical and conical ducts can also be defined based on their geometry. Available models and their parameters can be enumerated and combined to form simulators for complex acoustical structures. Parameters can be specified symbolically by expressions containing other parameter values or global variables. Dependencies between parameters are resolved at run time. However, MuParserX expressions are compiled at design time. Zero-delay loops are detected and reported.

  • EPICS-sumo

A SUpport MOdule manager for EPICS

sumo is a program to build consistent sets of EPICS support modules and use them in EPICS applications. EPICS is the Experimental Physics Industrial Control System. Some of the features are: - All module dependencies are held in a JSON dependency database. - The dependency database can be managed automatically with a version control system in order to keep it in sync on a number of build hosts. - In order to migrate your existing support module installation a scanner program creates a dependency database from existing support directories. - The program builds consistent sets of EPICS support modules. - The program fetches module source code from various sources, directories, tar files or version control systems (currently git, mercurial, darcs, subversion and cvs). - If a set of support modules is to be used in an application a RELEASE is generated.
