Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros We have been using Matomo for about a year (we are a web design company), and we keep adding it to the sites we host for our customers. They are very happy with it, particularly as it is far more friendly for occasional users to understand than Google Analytics. The API is good as well. We develop our own website CMS (Zenario) and have integrated Matomo into it; we've managed to create an experience where analytics appear to administrators while in their site, with a link to the Matomo system for further analysis. It gives insightful user analytics. Very easy to implement and the dashboard provides various graphical analytics. The best alternative of Google Analytics platform. A best open-source analytics platform. Cons Nitpick... the user management system (resetting password etc.) is a little odd and occasionally when creating a user it seems a bit flaky. But really, not much I don't like! Overall it's an outstanding open-source analytics platform.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Visitor Analytics provides us with tools where we can see exact data within our websites; it shows us from the number of users that interact and click on our most popular links on the web to the number of times a single user enters our domain. All this is expressed in a customizable graph table that can be segmented by option. This program allows web portal creators to have a visibility of the virtual traffic that our platforms have. It provides a data collection tool to all users who interact or enter our domains; showing us traffic statistics tables, comparison of most visited links and user preferences in real time. Visitor Analytics delivers complete site analytics to help you understand visitor better. It shares informative analytics and behavior insights. It supports every website platform. The ease of having all the data and info in one dashboard and easily see the journey for the customer is amazing. Cons The application does not show search and results of the most searched sites by users which makes it impossible for us to establish possible measures to take to increase our opportunities for them. At the same time, it does not allow us to do a search to establish which are the most used keywords to integrate them in our domains, Although the application has a good tracking management, it does not allow tracking certain things such as tracking the most searched sites by users. In addition, it does not have tools for tracking and clarifying the most searched sites by Internet users that would allow us to increase our chances for them. In my opinion, Visitor Analytics doesn't provide advanced analytics. You have to install the code on the site and can't use the Google Analytics.
