Cons: Secrets management could be better. Each service account you create consumes a license and you can't scope permissions per API key. So if you want to utilize the API for secrets management, you have to choose between overly broad permissions or purchasing a lot of licenses for granular API access. The licenses are very affordable, but having an API key's permission scope cost the same as a human user feels bad.

Also with the API, Passwork only publishes a Python library and CLI tool for API interaction. The API is fully documented so you could build your own tool without a Python dependency if needed, but it would be nice to have a native Windows tool available.

Desktop client doesn't support auto-type. A feature I'll miss moving from KeePass.

Doesn't have much for built in reporting aside from the activity audit log and the security dashboard.

Overall: Our small business wanted to migrate from KeePass to something with a native browser extension and was centrally managed. I evaluated trials of self-hosted Bitwarden, KeePass Hub, and Passwork. Passwork had the best overall experience and the best pricing. It was a great fit for our business.

Cons: At this point we have not found real issues or things that we didn't like.

Overall: As an IT manager, I was looking for a secured, user-friendly password manager that would allow us to share passwords among user groups.

After testing several solutions, we chose Passwork because it best fulfilled our requirements at a reasonable cost.

The interface is intuitive, and the group-sharing feature works seamlessly.

On top of that, user support has been excellent and very responsive.

Pros: The UI is simple but still does everything expected from the Product. It has all the necessary advanced features which can cater from small businesses to large enterprises. We evaluated a few alternatives, but Passwork ticked every requirement. Highly recommended app for anyone looking for a secured and simple Password management tool.

Cons: I find the pricing to be a little high. The UI is simple, but it can be a little more modern. The Mobile app can have some improvements too.

Overall: Excellent product. Does exactly what it is designed for. It offers a Cloud option as well as Self-hosted option for those who would prefer to keep their data within their own control.

Overall: Implementing Passwork helped us with the entire password management process. We tested various solutions, but Passwork met our requirements. Communication with the account manager was excellent. We recommend it to other organizations.

Pros: What I like the most about Passwork is that you can organize credentials/passwords into folders and subfolders for a neat logical structure and you can give access just to particular folders.

Cons: I'm not a very big fan of the graphical UI it seems a bit too boring and the font I feel makes it hard to read the menu names.

Overall: We chose Passwork because of two primary reasons.
One being the fact that it can be self-hosted. I did a lot of searching and there are a lot of good password managers out there but very few have a self-hosted version. I didn't want a cloud based one as I wanted to to be secure and accessible only from our admin network.
And the other reason is it's ability to have passwords structured in folders / sub-folders / sub-sub-folders ( I think you can go down as many levels as you want). I was surprised to see that very few other products have the possibility to organize stuff in folders.

Cons: - Plugin App for Browser could be a little bit smarter, but that is a minor thing

Overall: We’ve been using Passwork as our business password manager and have had a very positive experience so far. The interface is clean and easy to use, onboarding the team was straightforward, and sharing credentials securely across departments works really well.

The self-hosted option and role-based access control are a big advantage for our business environment.

Overall, Passwork has helped us organize and manage company passwords much more efficiently while improving security at the same time. Highly recommended for teams and businesses looking for a reliable password management solution.

Pros: Integration with various browsers and the smartphone app are unbeatable advantages. The web interface is simple and intuitive. It was the solution that enabled us to comply with the requirements of the ISO 27001 standard.

Cons: I’ve been using it for several years now and, so far, I haven’t found anything I don’t like about it.

Overall: The best credential management solution available on the market. It has resolved the issue of proper credential management within the company, allowing organisations to specify who can view certain credentials and who cannot. The integrated TOTP feature simplifies access to portals.

Pros: We needed a password manager that would include all company staff, with client-side encryption, and not only the technical staff.

Passwork was able to provide that with a very simple and accessible interface for everyone.

Moreover, the Passwork team provide fast-response support and improved the solution over time, adding the most needed features and performance improvements required to support very large companies/very high number of entries.

Cons: A few years ago Passwork missed some feature that other solution provided like multiple links per passwords or TOTP. But these feature as been added over time.

Overall: Secure and user-friendly. Password management is complicated enough for must users, that a simple and accessible solution is required to be able to onboard most of the employees.

Also Passwork supports APIs that replaces Vault-like solution, which are designed for automation rather than end users.

Pros: Passwork offers an incredibly intuitive interface that makes onboarding new team members a breeze. The self-hosted option provides peace of mind regarding data sovereignty, and the granular access controls allow us to manage permissions with precision. The integration with Active Directory is seamless and saves a lot of administrative time.

Cons: Setting up the self-hosted version requires some technical knowledge, though their documentation is quite helpful.

Overall: Overall, Passwork has significantly improved our organization's security posture. It strikes the perfect balance between robust security features and user-friendliness. The ability to securely share passwords across different departments without compromising our internal security policies is invaluable. It's a highly reliable tool that I would strongly recommend to any business looking to upgrade their password management system.

Pros: I love how Passwork can be accessed from any browser or platform (I tend to mix safari and Chrome). Not only that, but it’s really easy to set up; these guys have a fantastic support team who will guide you through the entire process. This was especially helpful for me as I’m not super tech savvy.

Cons: My only issue was that I would have preferred a feature-limited trial instead of the time-limited one that I received.

Overall: Passwork is a cost-effective solution that has allowed me to provide all my employees with access to an easy-to-use shared password management system. It allows for very specific access rights management, and most importantly, Passwork offers a self-hosted version that enables local server installation and AD integration. Definitely gets the thumbs up from me.

Pros: It is easy and fast to use, while the price/performance is excellent. I love the way it looks and how easily I can use it to manage our passwords.

Cons: Moving multiple passwords between folders is a tedious process as they each have to be moved over individually

Overall: I was looking for a self-hosted LDAP-compatible software with a one time payment option. I found that all with Passwork.

Pros: Simplicity, security, price and prompt technical support.

Cons: None.

Overall: An excellent password manager with a clear and intuitive design, and at an affordable price!

Overall: After studying dozens of solutions, I can definitely say that Passwork has the best UI. Besides, it has all the basic features necessary for comfortable work. And our users easily got used to the new password rules and don't ignore them.
