ICE Nigeria
Nigerian component of the International Corpus of English
This is the Nigerian component of the International Corpus of English, a one million word corpus of written and spoken Nigerian English for linguistic research. It can be used as a stand-alone corpus or in conjunction with other components of the International Corpus of English (such as ICE-GB, ICE-India, etc.) to compare international varieties of English. This is the first release of the complete corpus. The corpus can be downloaded in several parts. The written part can be downloaded as text files, xml files and xml files with parts of speech tagging, both with or without the raw files. For the spoken part the eaf files (ELAN files in xml format) together with the text files can be downloaded separately from the sound files. In addition, we provide the corpus manual as well as metadata (speaker age, gender, ethnic group and profession) and XML specifications. -

Often times, the production system network is inaccessible from the local development environment. If issues are encountered in production systems, it is impossible to use IDEs to debug the application remotely. More importantly, debugging in production environment is unacceptable, as it will suspend all the threads, resulting in the suspension of business services. Developers could always try to reproduce the same issue on the test/staging environment. However, this is tricky as some issues cannot be reproduced easily on a different environment, or even disappear once restarted. And if you're thinking of adding some logs to your code to help troubleshoot the issue, you will have to go through the following lifecycle; test, staging, and then to production. Time is money! This approach is inefficient! Besides, the issue may not be reproducible once the JVM is restarted, as described above. Arthas was built to solve these issues. -

Curv is a programming language for creating art using mathematics. It's a 2D and 3D geometric modelling tool that supports full colour, animation and 3D printing. Curv is a simple, powerful, dynamically typed, pure functional programming language. Curv is easy to use for beginners. It has a standard library of predefined geometric shapes, plus operators for transforming and combining shapes. These can be plugged together like Lego to make 2D and 3D models. Coloured shapes are represented using Function Representation (F-Rep). They can be infinitely detailed, infinitely large, and any shape or colour pattern that can be described using mathematics can be represented exactly. Curv exposes the full power of F-Rep programming to experts. The standard geometry library is written entirely in Curv. Many of the demos seen on shadertoy.com can be reproduced in Curv, using shorter, simpler programs. Experts can package techniques used on shadertoy as high-level operations for use by beginners. -

Evo 2 is a DNA language model system designed for long-context genome modeling and biological sequence design across all domains of life. The project models DNA at single-nucleotide resolution and supports context windows of up to one million base pairs, which places it in a class of models built for very large genomic reasoning tasks. According to the repository, it uses the StripedHyena 2 architecture, was pretrained with Savanna, and was trained autoregressively on the OpenGenome2 dataset containing 8.8 trillion tokens. The codebase is focused on local inference and generation through the Vortex inference stack rather than serving as a full training framework alone, although it also points users to training and fine-tuning resources. It supports multiple ways of working with the model, including forward passes, embeddings, generation workflows, notebooks, hosted APIs, and self-hosted deployment through NVIDIA NIM. -

OpenGL-related functions are dropped to make this lib platform/third-party independent. Make sure you have the latest version and feel free to report bugs, troubles. Euler angles was implemented in reverse order (extrinsic) it was fixed, now they are intrinsic. Make sure that you have the latest version. vec4 and mat4 variables must be aligned. (There will be unaligned versions later). cglm doesn't alloc any memory on heap. So it doesn't provide any allocator. You should alloc memory for out parameters too if you pass pointer of memory location. -

This repository holds all interfaces related to PSR-16. Note that this is not a cache implementation of its own. It is merely an interface that describes a cache implementation. You can find implementations of the specification by looking for packages providing the psr/simple-cache-implementation virtual package. Caching is a common way to improve the performance of any project, making caching libraries one of the most common features of many frameworks and libraries. Interoperability at this level means libraries can drop their own caching implementations and easily rely on the one given to them by the framework, or another dedicated cache library. PSR-6 solves this problem already, but in a rather formal and verbose way for what the most simple use cases need. This simpler approach aims to build a standardized streamlined interface for common cases. It is independent of PSR-6 but has been designed to make compatibility with PSR-6 as straightforward as possible.

High accuracy RAG for answering questions from scientific documents
PaperQA2 is a package for doing high-accuracy retrieval augmented generation (RAG) on PDFs or text files, with a focus on the scientific literature. See our recent 2024 paper to see examples of PaperQA2's superhuman performance in scientific tasks like question answering, summarization, and contradiction detection. In this example we take a folder of research paper PDFs, magically get their metadata - including citation counts and a retraction check, then parse and cache PDFs into a full-text search index, and finally answer the user question with an LLM agent.
