    CadQuery

    CadQuery

A python parametric CAD scripting framework based on OCCT

CadQuery is an intuitive, easy-to-use Python library for building parametric 3D CAD models. It has several goals. Build models with scripts that are as close as possible to how you’d describe the object to a human, using a standard, already established programming language. Create parametric models that can be very easily customized by end users. Output high-quality CAD formats like STEP and AMF in addition to traditional STL. Provide a non-proprietary, plain text model format that can be edited and executed with only a web browser. The scripts use a standard programming language, Python, and thus can benefit from the associated infrastructure. This includes many standard libraries and IDEs. CadQuery's CAD kernel Open CASCADE Technology (OCCT) is much more powerful than the CGAL used by OpenSCAD. Features supported natively by OCCT include NURBS, splines, surface sewing, STL repair, STEP import/export, and other complex operations.

    MESHROOM

    MESHROOM

    3D reconstruction software

Photogrammetry is the science of making measurements from photographs. It infers the geometry of a scene from a set of unordered photographies or videos. Photography is the projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D plane, losing depth information. The goal of photogrammetry is to reverse this process. The dense modeling of the scene is the result yielded by chaining two computer vision-based pipelines, “Structure-from-Motion” (SfM) and “Multi View Stereo” (MVS). Fusion of Multi-bracketing LDR images into HDR. Alignment of panorama images. Support for fisheye optics. Automatically estimate fisheye circle or manually edit it. Take advantage of motorized-head file. Easy to integrate in your Renderfarm System. Add specific rules to select the most suitable machines regarding CPU, RAM, GPU requirements of each Node.

    MoviePy

    MoviePy

    Video editing with Python

MoviePy is a Python module for video editing, which can be used for basic operations (like cuts, concatenations, title insertions), video compositing (a.k.a. non-linear editing), video processing, or to create advanced effects. It can read and write the most common video formats, including GIF. MoviePy is an open source software originally written by Zulko and released under the MIT licence. It works on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with Python 2 or Python 3. The code is hosted on Github, where you can push improvements, report bugs and ask for help. There is also a MoviePy forum on Reddit and a mailing list on librelist. MoviePy depends on the Python modules NumPy, Imageio, Decorator, and Proglog, which will be automatically installed during MoviePy's installation. The software FFMPEG should be automatically downloaded/installed (by imageio) during your first use of MoviePy (installation will take a few seconds).

    MakeHuman

    MakeHuman

This is the main repository for the MakeHuman application as such

This is the main source code for the MakeHuman application as such. See "Getting started" below for instructions on how to get MakeHuman up and running. Mac users should be able to use the same instructions as windows users, although this has not been thoroughly tested. At the point of writing this, the source code is almost ready for a stable release. The testing vision for this code is to build a community release that includes main application and often-used, user-contributed plug-ins. We hope that the utility of this integrated functionality is sufficient to entice a larger cohort of testers who get value-added in exchange for the possibility of uncovering deficiencies in our application.

    Crunch PNG

    Crunch PNG

Insane(ly slow but wicked good) PNG image optimization

Crunch is a tool for lossy PNG image file optimization. It combines selective bit depth, color type, and color palette reduction with zopfli DEFLATE compression algorithm encoding using the pngquant and zopflipng PNG optimization tools. This approach leads to a significant file size gain relative to lossless approaches at the expense of a relatively modest decrease in image quality. Continuous benchmark testing is available in our GitHub Actions CI. Please see the benchmarks directory of this repository for details about the benchmarking approach and instructions on how to execute benchmarks locally on the reference images distributed in this repository or with your own image files.
