It is a shame this project is sort of abandoned, after finally picking it up and playing with it it seems to have many ideas similar to those found in the recent Blender geometry node type editing and other procedural modeling tools like OpenSCAD or even POVRay SDL type constructions, but done all with an ahead of its time (back then) pipeline based node connecting system that is essentially a programmable modeling system. I really do hope to see this project maybe one day be forked into more stable version and kept alive because it does these things in a very fast way compared to many other similar packages. When doing things in the node editor don't forget that right clicking gives access to alot of stuff too.

The Mac OS X version doesn't run on Mavericks (10.9.1). The k3d-setup-eac49f4-x86_64 version does run on Mavericks.

The product may be great, but as far as installing it's hard. The product isn't clear on "where" it's getting installed but this tool is really useful!
