DbVisualizer

Pros: Very flexible. Came from a background a couple of years using Toad, but much prefer DB viz, and its a good price for such a comprehensive tool.
I use with mysql, mariadb, postgres, mongo, clickhouse.
Easy connection set up - good ssh tunnelling options etc.
Good autocompletion in editor. Nice set of data export tools etc.
Very stable, not had it crash on me even with dozens of sql editor tabs open.

Cons: not much. couple of problems with (very) older db's.

Overall: great - i use every single day. just renewed again for 3rd year running. definitely recommended for anyone mainly working with databases day in day out.

Pros: Ease of use, support for many databases, intuitive, in grid editing.
Settings export so I can easily move between laptop and desktop.

Cons: AI part seems unnecessary. I would appreciate better tools for graph visualization of schemas and tables.

Overall: Very happy customer. Using DBVisualizer on daily basis. I tried to use other db clients but nothing comes close.

Pros: New features coming along the way each release. Company listen to customers support ticket on bug fix.

Cons: Few tiny issue remains, Git experience can be improved, Screen resolution issue when plug unplug different monitors.

Overall: Very good product for data developers in general. Connects to range of database, can read ddl, row count, data preview inbuilt. New features handy and listen to customer advice.

Pros: Ease of use and cross platform connections. I operate multiple database across windows and MacOS and DbVisualzer to manage all from the one platform

Cons: NONE i what else can I say. You have designed a need cross platform utility and I have found no flaws to date

Overall: I have been a user for well over 15 years and find it to be my goto platform for accessing multiple databases .. . SqlServer, MySql ... couldn't do without it

Pros: My favorite feature in DbVisualizer is Query Builder. Being able to drag and drop tables onto a canvas and visually join them together and the filter and choose the columns that I want to return from the query is a huge time savings for me

Cons: The only thing that I have found limiting is only being able to open 1 table property page at a time.

Overall: DbVisualizer is my go to tool for anything SQL related. I find myself using it on a weekly basis. It is hands down the best SQL workbench that I have ever used.

Pros: The visualization of table relationships is very easy to understand, as well as connecting to new databases and creating different projects within DBVisualizer.

Cons: There are not many cons I would list honestly, DBVisualizer has done everything I have needed from it so far.

Overall: The UI is very easy to navigate and their AI integration is insanely useful. I'll never use a different database tool

Pros: DbVisualizer simplifies most aspects of DDL & DML by providing a simple, intuitive and user-friendly interface that just makes sense. The ability to connect to most databases, reach out to support that actually listens and helps are just the cherry on the top.

Cons: The database connectors availability can be improved. But besides that there is not a lot that is wrong with this product.

Overall: I have been using DbVisualizer for over 10 years now and have seen the product grow over the years. If there is a one database viewer and DML tool I suggest to neo or none developers that's DbVisualizer.

Pros: I have used DBVisualizer for more than 10 years. It has become an indispensable part of my daily workflow. It covers almost all known RDMBS and as long as you have a JDBC driver, you can use it. I also like that they continue to improve the user experience by adding new features to it.

Cons: DBVisualizer already has very good SQL editing features such as auto-complete, error highlighting, etc. I would recommend that more AI features to be added.

Overall: Great Tool for serious DB work. It will help your work greatly. Once you learn it, you will be finding yourself opening DBVisualizer first thing in the morning.

Pros: DbVisualizer is a very reliable tool for managing multiple databases, and it has greatly improved my confidence in working across different database systems. The workflow is consistent and well structured, which makes day to day database work feel organised and controlled. The schema integration is one of its strongest points, as it allows me to easily navigate tables, relationships, and database objects without losing context. The floating output panels are especially helpful, as they let me view query results alongside my SQL, improving focus and productivity. In addition, the way DbVisualizer handles stored procedures, combined with the ability to define my own SQL formatting style, has helped me keep my queries clean, readable, and professional.

Also, ability to use git directly improve my time management in my version control. needless to open Git to manage my version.

Cons: Introducing AI assisted features similar to those available in DataGrip would be a welcome improvement, or perhaps, an MCP application for debugging.

Overall: Best DB Managing SW supporting multiple different DBs in one solution. I've been using this SW for over 10 years almost daily. I've used it and discovered for my past company and after left I bought my own license and still using this SW. I appreciate regular updates and new features that keeps SW on top.

Pros: DBVisualizer offers an incredibly unified environment that streamlines my workflow. With run, compile, and development tools all integrated into one application, it eliminates the need to juggle between multiple platforms. The rich ecosystem of extensions is another major plus, allowing me to extend functionality and support a wide range of tasks specific to my development needs. Cons: The interface isn’t the most intuitive, especially for newer users or those unfamiliar with similar tools. It takes a little time and effort to get used to the layout and workflows. Overall: Overall long term customer, very happy with the product. I have tried using other tools over the years, though I always gone straight back to DbVisualizer. Lots of functionality and easy to navigate structures and generate queries.

Pros: One GUI to rule them all! DbVisualizer is a universal client management that you can use for many popular databases from mySQL, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and many more. Really easy UI interface and works in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS!

Cons: I don't really have any complaints about DbVisualizer!

Overall: This has been my go to SQL Client for the past 5 years. They have a great product with excellent support and a vibrant community.

Pros: Easy to install and configure; use same interface across multiple database platforms. Quick and dirty use of SQL while still being able to do things like browse tables.

Cons: Rough upgrade process, but the most recent major release fixed this with a more automatic process.

Overall: We needed a tool to just be able to get data out of RDMS'. This fit the bill. It uses a JDBC common denominator to give the same experience no matter your environment - - I personally use it currently with 6 different RDMS'. (SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, PostGres, MySQL, Oracle)

Sometimes you just need a quick tool to get your data out.

Pros: Easy to use and easy to get new team members using the product. Clear menu items. Great online user guide.

Cons: I do not have many complaints about DbVis. I have been able to troubleshoot my problems with the online user guide.

Overall: I prefer DbVis over all the other similar products I have tried. I also have received online support.
