Pros: Easy to use (setting up connections, looking at databases/tables, saving code) and makes coding and database access fast and efficient

Cons: Nothing negative to say about this product, I've always been able to do everything I need to with it.

Overall: I've used DbVisualizer to access data for over 10 years. It makes doing my job so easy that I'd hate to have to work without it.

Pros: Ease of use. Ease of updating. I have never used support so I cannot comment as to how good the support is.

Cons: The search UI is a little weird and I think it could be a little better but I am not a UI person.

Overall: Overall I am a satisfied customer. I have not used a lot of other similar tools to compare it to. Maybe that is because I did not have to as this products gets the job done for me.

Pros: Very easy to use, supports many DBs, great SQL editor with auto-complete, and helpful export options.

Cons: Free version has some limitations; performance can slow down with very large datasets.

Overall: DBVisualizer is a very practical and reliable tool for managing and querying databases. It’s easy to use, supports multiple database types, and offers powerful features even in the free version.

Overall: The best sql development tool I have used. Been using DbVis 17+ years. The product keeps getting better.

Pros: Super clean design, with ability to connect to multiple databases at the same time, and it runs on Mac!

Cons: there are two things that I would like to see:
1. cross platform queries
2. ability to do simple manipulation of the result sets, such as sum, avg, pivot, without sending the output to excel

Overall: Overall, I really like DbVisualizer. It allows me to perform my job easily and efficiently, and it’s one of the few SQL tools that is truly Mac-friendly.

Cons: - I wish there was a way that I could manage MySQL users in DBVis.

Overall: I use DBVis to connect to SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres daily. It meets every need and does it simply. I have recommended it to numerous people and will continue to do so in the future.

Pros: I've use DbVisualizer for over 12 years now. I worked with others on Jobs but given the chance i install DbVisualizer

Pros: I love table column sorting/filters, the new workspace feature, db specific object handling like Oracle's sequences.

Cons: When I have a lot of tables open, the popup on the right side gets a bit unwieldy. It would be nice to have that as a drag and drop list since dragging the tabs of open tables is difficult when you have 30 tables open and the title is so long (yes, I've customized those).

Overall: Overall, a really good tool to in the toolbox. I use it heavily; seldom a day that I don't. Support team is quite responsive, too, if I have problems or suggestions.

Cons: There really isn't anything I have found yet that I don't like. I would like to see a AI able to help me build more complicated queries.

Overall: I need edit database structures, modify existent databases and create querys on databases.

Cons: In my experience using the product, I have no Cons to call out with the product. I am yet to find a bug in a release version and on the times I've needed support, I have had a response within 24 hours.

Overall: Overall my experience with DbVisualizer has been excellent. I use the product daily and what started as a tool for a couple of developers has progressed into a tool we're using across the business in multiple departments with multiple users.

Pros: Over the years I've had to reach out to support about 5 times. Support has always been very prompt and fulsome in their responses and have helped me get to a resolution quickly.

Cons: Every now and then the app seizes up and I've no choice but to force quit it. Unsure if this is a JDK issue.

Overall: I've been using DbVisualizer since 2008 at work first. When work switched to a different DB IDE which was much inferior, I opted to pay for DbV myself as it makes life much easier for me for my work and personal development.

Pros: Provides the ability to quickly verify sql accuracy. Extremely user friendly for connecting to various database engines. Data export to different formats for use when needing to quickly compare data retrieval results.

Cons: Nothing that presented any real concerns during our experience.

Pros: I can duplicate rows, edit them and when I am sure of the work done, save them to db, when production, I can highlight the danger of doing the operation by coloring the connection to db and make it mandatory to ask for confirmation of changes.

Pros: I have used DbVisualizer for many years and several other similar products both commercial and open source. I have consistently found DbVisualizer to be head and shoulders above any of the alternatives. I have especially appreciated that there is a cli tool as well as an excellent IDE experience. I have written several automated scripts with the cli for production workloads. The price is quite reasonable for the value.

Cons: It has been rock solid for several years. I cannot claim there are really any "cons" per se. Years ago it would occasionally crash but I haven't experienced that in some time. The price has increased but not terribly.

Overall: One of the best software products I've ever used.

I used to use the product nearly every day. In my current role I do not do as much SQL but it is still my go-to tool. I have purchased it for every team that I have had.

Pros: Ease of use, a lot of functionality, multiple DB support, cross platform, very useful if you are working with multiple databases.

Cons: There is a learning curve involved on using it in the beginning, but you will appreciate it.

Overall: I have used DbVisualizer for over 5 years now. In past, I used vendors db admin tools for each of their product, but this tool solved my solution to have a single solution for multiple vendors. This is the only tool I use to do my database developments.

Overall: Love this product, have used it since the early 2000's, mostly with postgresql, mysql, oracle. The free version is always available, but the licensed version has many useful additions.
