About

We developed Taskline from a personal need to plan and control our own work in a simple, flexible, and familiar way. Taskline is an innovative approach for managing your time, personal schedule and work in Microsoft Outlook. Taskline uses highly advanced algorithms to automatically schedule your task list (or To Do list) into your Outlook Calendar. Taskline takes into account your normal working week and any existing commitments in your calendar, such as vacations and meetings, during task scheduling. Taskline also makes sure that deadlines are not missed or it will warn you if what you’re trying to do is unachievable. Changes to work assignments or deadlines are easily handled. Accurately predict when work will get completed. Quickly and easily adapt to new assignments. Have reliable delivery dates for your work, for the benefit of yourself and others. Be organized and in control, to free up time to do the things that matter.

About

Whether there is a work-related task or a personal goal, TickTick is here to help you manage all your to-dos. Set a reminder to ease your mind off worrying about missing deadlines from now on. With five different calendar views, you can check and handle your schedules in a more convenient way. From family weekend plan to teamwork, share lists and assign tasks on the go. Include due date & time information when creating a new task. TickTick will automatically parse it into a reminder. Create multiple reminders for one task, or enable "Annoying Alert" to avoid missing. TickTick can help with tasks that occur every few days or every month - any regular schedule. View your tasks in smart lists such as "Today" and "Tomorrow", or create your own filters. Mark and sort tasks in four priority levels: High Priority, Medium Priority, Low Priority.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It's an effective software with task management. Great to set due dates to task and set reminders. Outstanding and scalable with project collaboration. Excellent with workflow management.
  • There's plenty of themes for this, for both premium and free versions. Lists can also be color coordinated. In each lists, you can set up lists as tasks to complete or notes for quickly jotting down ideas or even using one of your lists as a journal. Due dates can be added and there's a calendar feature as well. Text can also be enlarged for people who need larger text. Tagging and lists are the primary way to organize. There's also a pattern lock option to keep your notes private and gesture customization.

Cons

  • It's an excellent and robust with project planning and team collaboration.
  • Organization is there, but pretty minimal. The menu is usually out of sight, which some might prefer, but I would actually rather have a small menu bar on the side. It's not a big deal, and that's just a personal thing for me.
