Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros As a small business employee with mostly working remote the ability to use our cell phone for work and keep the calls separated has been great. The voice announce feature when a call comes through so you know it is a business call verse personal is awesome. This phone system works well for our business. It is a great way to direct company calls to our remote employees! - User friendly - Simple to change settings at any time - Sets a great professional business-like tone! Cons None that I can think of at this time. That must be good. No cons for this product – really enjoyed using it! I share this service with another administrator. If I want to delete messages, it only deletes it on my device, but not completely. It still shows up on my co-worker's.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I like text now at first because I could finally call my country and receive text messages to my phone while away. I started using this phone number to get people to reach me while in a foreign country I use it in my email signature I use it on my business card I used it on my website but then... Was great before the company introduced all the pay walls. Now a barely serviceable extra line. Does not drop the majority of calls. Cons After a couple of weeks of using text now one morning the app was no longer connected to my account and I could no longer retrieve my phone number. So out of despair because I needed to make a phone call in my country I decided to just create a new account thinking that I would have to change all the phone numbers everywhere where I had a written the old text now phone number... And again I lost access to that number a second time and it is this time text now banned me. And I would have had to fight for my number and I talk to myself to the heck with that! I'm done with TextNow I'll never use it again. App selectively does not ring or alert you to texts (even after applying company prescribed fixes). Have to pay to get access codes, or they are willfully blocked. The price is ridiculous. Ads everywhere for you to accidentally click on. App pirates your phone after some texts, and makes you watch a full commercial, in the middle of your conversation. Solution is to close the app, and reboot it. Loading time is slow. Can you imagine if you were in trouble?! I actually paid to have my number reserved for a few months, and found out that it is a separate charge to get access codes, despite it not being advertised that way.
