Pros: -Very easy to deploy images across various machines despite hardware differences.
-Extremely easy to set up and use.
-Driver packs are updated with almost all models.
-The cloud deploying option is wonderful.
-1 month trial with all features
-Customer service and Sales teams are very helpful and supportive.

Cons: -The user interface needs an update I guess. It looks a bit old-fashioned.
-Lack of proper documentation.
-Deploying your Anti Virus through your golden image is a little bit challenging.

Overall: Ease of use, great features like driver packs and cloud deploying, and excellent customer service make it unbeatable.

Pros: - Easy to learn and use for imaging units.
- Cloud integration allows us to image units in the filed, where we could not before.
- Application Packs are very handy for rolling out software quickly.
- And Platform Packs make sure we have the latest drivers and firmware on a newly imaged unit as well as a unit already deployed.

Cons: - No Single Management console if you have multiple servers as deployment servers (This feature was not available and was disclosed when we purchased).
- Also no sync option for when you update an image to push it to a multiple server deployment setup (Really wish this were an option).
- Custom Application Packs are a little tricky to build (But can be done).
- Not ALL Platform Packs are the latest available drivers and firmware (But for the most part they are).

Overall: - We have not been on SmartDeploy long but so far it has delivered on everything we needed it to when it comes to our deployments.
- We are happy and can't wait to see what else they will offer.

Pros: Setup process was very easy and quick.
Their site has tons of documentation and videos on how to get the product setup.
Smart deploy cut down our imaging and setup times to a fifth of what it was before.

Combined with WDS our imaging process from start to finish takes 15 minutes.

Cons: Wish there was a way for multiple admins to be signed into SD at once on the same server.

Overall: Simple yet powerful program that will cut down setup times substantially. Great support team and lots of resources for getting started.

Pros: Driver packs make deployment easy.
Single gold image is all that is needed.
Easy to customize answer file.
Easy to create application packs.

Cons: Nothing really.
Would like more available pre-packaged apps.

Overall: This is the best imaging solution I have used. Deployment is simple and can be used with Windows Deployment System.

Cons: • More Built in Application Packs

Overall: Solved a long problem of trying to image using old software, or even handloading! Would/have recommend to fellow industry contacts. A++++

Pros: Easy to use software solution.
Platform packs for each hardware we use available.
Easy adjusting of answerfile so we can roll out different locations with one image.
Excellent team and support.

Cons: On downside is that for a really practical use i needs to be on a physical server otherwise you have to transfer the VM files to the virt Server to capture the image.

Overall: Good overall experience.
Really fast distribution of Windows via our gold master image

Pros: Incredibly easy to use and configure, barely any setup time, along with useful features which are massive time savers.

Cons: One of the only cons is driver platform packs not always applying, but this is generally fixed with an update to the pack. Can also always make your own.

Overall: SmartDeploy has certainly helped with business needs and management and their support is always helpful and responsive.

Pros: We struggled with Microsoft MTD, it took too long to deploy and build a laptop and sometimes the PXE boot would fail. Using SmartDeploy with deployment on a USB stick works every time and is much quicker.

Cons: If anything the trial version does not allow USB deployments, it got fixed by the support team, but it did hold us back for a little while.

Overall: We have used it for 3-6 months now and it is working well for us. The user interface is good and deployments just work!

Pros: This product as helped us a lot in the Covid-19 pandemic in imaging laptop for our users.

Since we had no way to image are machine.

More packaged pre apps.
Better interface which i know they are working on it.

Overall: The whole team have helped me from day one from when I started testing this product in answering all my quires and concern while before purchasing this product.

Pros: Incredibly powerful, and flexible.
Installs all hw drivers and can join domain or azure.
Can deploy different images to different ws or groups of ws's

Cons: Lots of prep work to get to the point of "pushing the button"

Overall: The onboarding team was very patient and knowledgeable.
They patiently explained how to utilize each feature and helped me plan my deployment.

Pros: Moved over from Symantec Ghost over to SmartDeploy and I've never looked back.

Product support team has been outstanding. They truly back up their product and respond in a very timely manner for all feature requests.

Cons: Licensing is annual and it seems a bit pricey. Not for every organization with tighter budgets.

Overall: Ease of use and well developed product support won us over. It's the easiest PC imaging solution we've ever used.

Pros: The best of deployment in one easy package. Best part is the driver platform repository. Honestly the whole thing is the best part. You can go back in your console and update drivers for the systems.

Cons: None come to mind. I guess if I had to pick something it would be the price. But still worth it.

Overall: I've tried to wrap my head around getting MDT started from scratch but some of the post deployment steps were just too confusing. SmartDeploy has a wizard for it all. Creates an answer file, joins it to the domain, even adds wifi profile. I haven't been able to do that with any others I've tested.

Pros: We utilize SmartDeploy across our global organization. The ease of use and simplicity of configuration are lifesavers! We were able to get our Golden Master online and deploying in around 3 hours from install. The application packs, and Platform packs make driver and app installs seamless.

Cons: Nothing to note yet, I will update this review if I do find something I don't like.

Overall: Overall, I'm impressed with the ease of use of this product. the fact that I can deploy payloads efficiently and globally is a time saver, and cuts down on our departments time.

Pros: SmartDeploy makes it easy to deploy images, deploy applications, capture user data, check OS versions, and much more.

Cons: Speed of building a USB drive, but that's a hardware thing.

Overall: I've now imaged about 100 PCs using SmartDeploy. We've been imaging them leisurely, 1-4 a day, then taking them out of the IT room and deploying the physical boxes. This app is a huge time-saver.

Cons: Sometimes getting newly installed clients to show as Online in the console is cumbersome. This can often involve a few restarts of the SD service.

Overall: A complete, cost-effective solution.

Being spread out over a large geographical area image management was a massive chore, in fact, we weren't maintaining it. A device was only imaged once then shipped to the user, never to be updated again.

All it took to revolutions this shortfall was: building a golden image, adding the relevant platform pack, uploading everything to your preferred Cloud Platform (via the Console) and installing the SD client on the target machine (Microsoft Intune for us). That's it.

Push an image to a client and everything take place over the internet, no requirement for user interaction.

Once the image has been deployed application and drive updated a quick and easy via the layered architecture.

Pros: It's easy to learn and fast to start deploying. I really like how they have everything broken down into layers and you can quickly switch out different layers in the event you need different drivers, apps, os image, etc. I really like that you can deploy to PCs remotely too.

Cons: Sometimes connecting to the cloud is problematic and you have to uninstall the application and then log back in with your email. Uninstalling the app isn't so bad though because it's quick to reinstall and all your stuff comes right back.

Overall: I've noticed SmartDeploy is always looking for feedback on their product, invites users to recommend features, and has incredible support when your stuck.

Cons: The initial learning curve does take time. But once you figure it out it is easy to master.

Overall: Smart Deploy is a great product and will allow for any business to quickly deploy workstations. Things like these are why I love this product and would recommend it to any IT professional that manage devices.

Overall: SmartDeploy really saved time on initializing new desktops/laptops in my company. It saves hours of time and times of updates and honestly in this day in age of 2020 is much more secure. Knowing that our devices will be updated fully with drivers and BIOS versions that are up to date is key for company and network security. Things like these are why I love this product and would recommend it to any IT professional that manage devices.

Pros: Runs like SCCM, but without the bulkiness of SCCM.
Ability to script/install software that does not image well saves us 90% of our previous workload.

Overall: Great so far. Managing this in 2 remote sites including over rough seas.

Pros: I like how easy it was in general to setup and get working. It drastically reduced the time it took to image over 300 machines in my organization across 10 physical location to windows 10.

Cons: Some of the options don't make sense. One of them being the wipe and load and automatic partitioning schemes. If you have one it deprecates other useful options that are available in the other. Cost is a bit high but given the time to deployment compared to say SCCM it is kind of worth it.

Overall: Overall pretty happy with how the product worked out. There are a lot of offerings in this field of software and I think SmartDeploy stands out.
