About Ravine Desk
Ravine Desk is help desk software built for freelancers, consultants, and small development teams who support multiple clients. Each workspace gets its own branded subdomain and client portal, where clients sign in with a magic link instead of a password. Tickets come in through the portal or by email, and client email replies thread into the matching ticket automatically. Billable hours are logged on every comment and roll up into per-client reports. An AI assistant is included on every plan, with a daily briefing and ticket analysis; Team and Pro plans add automatic triage and client-facing status summaries. Pricing is flat and based on technician count, with no per-ticket or per-client fees. Plans start at $12/month, and every plan comes with a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. An early-access Agent Seats add-on lets AI agents such as Claude Code work tickets through a REST API under their own technician identity.

" lightweight for our small team" Posted 2026-10-02
Pros: We were looking for a simple helpdesk and this one is pretty lightweight, no extra bloat like Freshdesk. Setup was done in like 15 minutes only, I created like 10-13 clients easily and few tickets, process was pretty simple. I like that support is directly from founder not bot, reply came quick which is helpful when you are stuck. Tried on chrome and safari both, mostly worked fine for us.
Cons: I did found one issue where login page keeps loading sometimes, keeps loading bug. Reporting is still pretty basic and there is no slack integration yet, would be nice to have that. Design could be more modern but its okay.
Overall: We handle like 30-40 tickets daily and its perfect for small business helpdesk, not for big enterprise maybe. For daily work its simple and easy to manage inbox with team. No complicated stuff just tickets and replies which I liked. Overall happy with it so far, giving 4 stars for now would be 5 if reporting improves a bit.

"Switched from Zendesk - much better pricing for small team" Posted 2026-09-23
Pros: We were using Zendesk before and the per-agent pricing was getting too expensive as we added our 3rd and 4th agent. Ravine Desk has flat pricing $12 to $99, no surprise per seat cost. Setup was done in like 15 minutes, very simple compared to Zendesk. Support is directly from the founder which is actually helpful.
Cons: Reporting is still pretty basic and there is no Slack or Drive integration yet. For our daily work it's okay but would be nice to have those soon.
Overall: We are a small team of 4 handling 40-50 tickets daily. Ravine Desk is perfect for small business helpdesk, not for big enterprise. The 14 day trial without credit card made it easy to test before buying. Overall happy with it.
