"Our Product of choice for Application Monitoring"

    Posted 2025-07-21

Pros: We tested Application Manager as part of OPManager Plus. We wanted to get a couple of services monitored, but then found that we also have additional abilities like REST API monitoring, web site monitoring, in-depth database monitoring and cloud monitoring for planned web applications.

Cons: The products integration into OPManager is currently showing different appearances between native OPManager and Application Manager functionality and website content. That could be a bit more seamlessly.

Overall: We are satisfied with our decision to make use of the ManageEngine tool. We are also happy, that the support is good when you need it.

    "ManageEngine Applications Manager"

    Posted 2025-06-26

Pros: What stood out most about ManageEngine Applications Manager was its comprehensive monitoring capabilities across diverse applications and infrastructure components. I appreciated the user-friendly interface, real-time performance insights, and customizable dashboards that made it easy to proactively detect and resolve issues. It also integrates smoothly with other tools, making IT management more efficient and less stressful.

Cons: While ManageEngine Applications Manager offers robust features, one drawback I noticed was that the initial setup and configuration can be time-consuming, especially for larger environments with complex application stacks. Some advanced settings also required additional documentation or technical support to fully understand. Additionally, the user interface, while functional, felt a bit dated in certain views and could benefit from a more modern, streamlined design. These issues didn’t affect overall performance, but they slightly impacted the initial user experience.

Overall: My overall experience with ManageEngine Applications Manager was highly positive and efficient. It provided deep visibility into application performance, allowing for swift identification and resolution of issues before they could impact end users. The range of supported technologies and integrations made it a versatile tool in diverse IT environments. I also appreciated the customizable alerts and automation features, which helped streamline repetitive tasks and reduce downtime. Although there’s room for improvement in setup time and UI modernization, its core functionality and reliability truly stood out.
