Most important features are free. - It is a feature-packed messaging application for both pc and smartphones. - Telegram allows the user to create groups with up to 200,000 members. - Bots can be deployed by the group admin to automate tasks within groups. - It has a global search to search anything across the telegram platform. - It is a security-oriented messaging application that allows its users to stay anonymous in groups or from other users on the platform. Due to the spam-free policy of Telegram, it is widely used for purposes such as trafficking and many more. It is not as popular as WhatsApp due to its marketing. Due to its feature of handling a lot of participants at once, It's widely used for its educational channels. Also, it has a huge cloud storage. Well there are many pros of this application like: - You can meet people who will change your perspective about life, future business partner, your new friend, etc. - It provides a very secure chatting process. - You can hide your profile and you can create your own group or super group. - Telegram has more features than other messenger applications. - Telegram can work on several devices at the same time and you can transfer files from one device to another as well. - No Ads and completely free. - End to end encrypted. - Ordinary and secret chats. - Simple and easy interface to use. It's advantageous to share class notes and other educational purposes. It can keep u updated with daily news as there's a lot of good news channels on it. You can download movies, videos and many more things on telegram. There are a few cons of this application as well: - Telegram is not an easy platform, subscribers can leave your channel or group as quickly as they come because of the vast platform it provides to others as well. - Your Telegram can be flooded with messages most of the time. - Should focus on the appearance of this platform, this is a very bad thing about this application that it does not have an attractive interface which can be a very huge problem for its popularity among people. - No multiple selections. - Can’t easily figure out the opposite person is online or offline. - Pirated contents can be easily shared.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Works well as a desktop messaging app, synced with the android version. But the alternatives are much better, thus this is not to be recommended. (+) Viber desktop application and very good sync with the desktop application. (+) Transfer of photos and videos without drop in quality. (+) It can seamlessly do group calling with more users without a drop in quality. (+) Self-erasing messages is a great way of cleaning up space. This was one of the first instant messaging app I had on my iPhone. Simple to set up and uses your phone number and instantly shows all other contacts that have Viber. It has stickers which is a fun way to communicate with friends and family. Great group calling support and quality with 20 people and more. Has message encryption so your privacy is safe. It can connect more than 200 people in group chat. Video quality is very good even on unstable connection. Funny stickers and emojis. Can join many global public community to make new friends. Love how easy it is to use to send messages internationally at no additional cost when they also have Viber. Cons This software insists to interrupt you by its updates, which become available very frequently, and which you have no choice but to be interrupted by, since the app doesn't give up till you restart it, then opens up its blog page each time. There is no option to turn this incredibly annoying behaviour off. Irritated customers writing reviews such as this one, ensue. Also, the advertising is very obtrusive. (-) No blocking of calls feature. (-) Nonavailability and limited audience base which is a drawback. (-) Too many stickers and gifs make it annoying. (-) There is no backup option for your chat like in WhatsApp. Needs more innovative features to catch up with its competitors. App crashes sometimes and have to close the app via switcher and open again. Sometimes doesn't detect mobile data. I never faced any issue on usage of this app. It works very well for what it made for. Super easy to use which I can't think of any cons.
