Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros It is easy to use and the recordings were eye-opening! We would show recordings of users struggling with certain aspect of our large site to committee members, and everyone was amazed. We use those results to not only implement need change, but visual proof to justify those changes. Hotjar has an easy to use interface and simple integration with other apps. The ability to gather feedbacks and surveys. The heatmaps and recordings are user-friendly, meaning that everyone can understand what they're seeing without advanced training. The feedback and survey tools are extremely reliable and feature-rich too. Implementation is super-easy. Hotjar provides an easy way to see the views and interaction your website are getting. Even with being a "numbers person" I still enjoy this platform and how it makes it so easy to view the data provided. It helps my team and I understand what things need to stay the same on our website and what changes need to be made. Hotjar offers best of the class visual analytics through heat map. it is a great tool to study the user behaviour of your visitors and helps in deciding and placing the call to action buttons on the most interacted section of the page. The integration part is very easy for most of the website and one bonus with it- doesn't affect the page loading time. Cons None that I can think of - it has done so much for us in a short time. Reports are helpful but required more option for customization It would be great to see the data in real time, perhaps even for recordings. The tool satisfies our needs to full extent nonetheless. So far I haven't found any cons, but I am newer to the platform. It is one of the best and easy to use virtual analytics. No Cons.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Inspectlet is the best software to get insights about the visitors on our webpage. It comes with a greatly designed interface that has its tools visually available to be used and it does a great job at recording sessions. Inspectlet has allowed me to take a deeper look at how our visitors interact with our page and have detailed insights on what’s happening, what are they more interested in, what aspects of our page they are not interested, what is confusing and what is helpful; it is a very broad software that has the right tools to study all these factors very deeply to gain enough knowledge to improve our customer experience on our website. I can see things like what they interact with through clicks, movement of the mouse on the screen, and more, which is a great helpful resource as I can sort out all these individual users and study them separately and together to gain more insight. Inspectlet has a powerful heatmap that covers everything on our page and studies where our visitors are looking, and what gains more interest to them upon entering our page, this is a great tool to understand the changes that we can do to our page in order to have more people successfully buy one of our products or sign to our newsletter, we can know if our products gain enough interest to them and create a well organized and thoughtful campaign in order to improve, thanks to this software’s analytics. Another aspect that I also like about Inspectlet is the fact that I have the power to test different versions of mockups for our page to see if they will do well or bad based on the past insights that I get from the screen recordings and the heatmaps, I can easily study everything and create reports that will help me understand if the changes being made will actually work the way I want them to or not and if not, what we can do to actually make something that will improve our customer experience. Inspectlet offer very dynamic and interactive heat map solutions for websites which are very easy to understand and analyse, it offers split testing. The best part of Inspectlet is the ability to to segment the data and analyses based on different user group like return customers, new visitors, abandoned cart customers. Inspectlet is basically divided in three categories as session recordings, dynamic heatmaps, form analytics. Cons The lack of a permanent cloud saving option for screen recordings is very prominent on Inspectlet, the sessions can only be saved for a period of time and they will be deleted, which is honestly not a bad thing, but it’s also not a good thing if I want to gain access to past recordings in order to understand past behaviors, but I can’t because they are not saved automatically and permanently. I have also experienced many bugs while using this software, for example, I tend to experience bugs while watching recorded sessions, some of the sessions aren’t recorded very well so it creates missing information that is prevalent for us, or sometimes while sorting out the recorded sessions, it won’t actually show the filtered list and I have to try again. Another thing that has happened a few times while using this software is that the main page will take longer time than usual to load, and it is a bit annoying as I want a fast reliable software. Inspectlet is a great software that has the right tools to gain access to many important insights in our business, but it’s nowhere near perfect and it is still improving its tools. Inspectlet is very interactive heat map and form analytics solution which is not easy to find with other platforms it helps a lot to redesign the forms so that you can increase the conversion.
