Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I like how this cloud-based phone system works as it offers a multitude of benefits to users looking for a complete and easy-to-use phone solution. One of the main advantages of GoTo Connect is its simple and competitive pricing structure. Unlike many other phone systems that charge based on the number of features included, GoTo Connect is priced based solely on the number of users. This makes it easier for companies to understand exactly what they're paying for and ensures they don't overpay for unnecessary features. Works great for larger businesses with 100+ users, this platform also offers custom plans. This allows these businesses to get a customized solution that meets their specific needs, while also taking advantage of the easy-to-use interface and other features that GoTo Connect offers. Another key benefit of this platform is its intuitive interface. I can easily set up and manage your phone system, create call groups, and access video conferencing software, all from a single, easy-to-use dashboard. The graphical user interface for creating call flows is one of the best in the VoIP industry, making it easy for even non-technical users to create and manage their call routing. In addition to its powerful phone system capabilities, GoTo Connect also includes GoToMeeting video conferencing software. With GoToMeeting, it allows me to host video conferences with up to 250 participants. I can also share screen, record meetings and chat with other attendees. This makes it easier for me and my team to work remotely so we can collaborate and stay connected no matter where we are. One last thing I want to add about GoTo Connect is that it provides excellent customer support that is available 24/7 via phone, email, and chat. You can also have access to a library of tutorials, a community forum, and a knowledge base. This ensures users can get help whenever they need it and have the resources, they need to get the most out of their GoTo Connect system.
  • We can interact quickly and easily with GoToConnect, and there's a platform where we can share content with the right people. GoToConnect is also cloud-based, which makes it suitable for a wide variety of users. It has a great dashboard and a lot of usability to help you with your needs. The setup is fast and easy, and the system is simple to understand.
  • - It has one of the best administrative portals. - It is available on both desktop and smartphone platforms for a seamless experience. - The implementation and setup of the software are very easy.
  • This business phone system is easy to use and very affordable . It comes with great features and it makes business communication seamless.
  • GoToConnect ensures that we easily connect, and there is a platform where we share the content with the required persons. Also, GoToConnect is on cloud, which means, suitable to many users.

Cons

  • While this platform is very good and has many benefits, it is also important to consider some of its possible drawbacks. One feature where GoTo Connect falls short is the lack of cloud storage for recorded calls or other files. They must rely on my own storage solutions or third-party services to store and access these important files. This can be inconvenient and can lead to additional expenses for companies that need to purchase additional storage solutions. Another potential downside to GoTo Connect is the lack of shared hardware devices, such as conference phones or headsets. This means that users must purchase their own devices or use compatible devices from other providers. While this may not be a major issue for some businesses, it can be a significant expense for others, especially those with larger teams or multiple locations. Additionally, I have occasional connection issues or audio quality issues that can affect call or meeting performance. These issues can be frustrating and can lead to interruptions in productivity. I experience glitches or bugs with the desktop or mobile app, which can further exacerbate these issues. Another potential concern is that GoTo Connect may not offer as many advanced features as other phone system solutions. While it includes many powerful tools and capabilities, businesses that require more advanced features may need to look elsewhere. I find that GoTo Connect is not priced as competitively as other phone system solutions on the market. While pricing is straightforward and based on the number of users, businesses with larger teams may find costs add up quickly.
  • We discovered the following drawbacks: -If you're using multiple accounts, it's difficult to stay logged in. also there might be a few glitches here and there, and you might find a lot of speech pause. The VoIP relationship is in shambles.
  • - There are some minor bugs like some users encountered problems in hearing incoming calls. But other than this there is not any major con.
  • I have had no problems using this phone system. It works well.
  • GoToConnect requires a strong internet supply, and some areas or firms may lack it.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • I have used GS Wave for over 3 years, Overall GS Wave is about as good as a softphone app can get. It behaves similarly to the native dialer app in any cell phone. It does have some issues that I note below. Overall however, it works brilliantly with external bluetooth systems. It has a good, intuitive user interface and generally is easy to use, provides great sound quality, etc.

Cons

  • Unfortunately, the app has a serious and random bug that affects operation on some phones regardless of make/model or OS. For some unknown reason, on some smartphones, when the app is configured to register with an IPv4 address and the phone transitions from a WiFi connection to the mobile carrier network that has IPv4 and IPv6 addresses - the app will attempt to register with the PBX using the configured IPv4 address but will then only provide the PBX with IPv6 contact info which the PBX rightfully rejects. The only way around this that I have found is to setup a VPN on my phone to my company's network, exit the GS Wave app and then restart it. Then it registers correctly using the configured IPv4 address and provides only IPv4 contact info in the registration request which is accepted by the PBX. I find this bug particularly odd in that if the phone is operating on a WiFi network with both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses - the app always registers correctly using just the configured IPv4 info. The bug is random in that you can install the app on your cell phone and it will work perfectly - transitioning between WiFi and cell networks both having IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and it will properly register with just IPv4 info. However, if you make a change to the account settings - randomly the bug will be triggered and once triggered you can never fix it again! You can totally delete the app and reinstall it - the bug will persist. You can even move from one cellphone to another and the bug will persist. This is likely due to the back configs that are saved in the cloud. The problem is maddening because the GS Wave softphone is superior in so many ways to every other softphone available and yet - Grandstream will simply not look into fixing this bug!!
