Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Discord has been one of the easiest ways to keep communication organized, especially when there are a lot of people involved. Instead of having everything mixed into one giant group chat, you can create separate channels for different teams, projects, or topics. That alone makes conversations way easier to follow. What I like most is how flexible it is. If a quick message isn't enough, you can jump into a voice channel, start a video call, or share your screen within seconds. Communication feels a lot more natural compared to constantly scheduling meetings or sending long email threads back and forth. There are several things that I like about this platform, mainly due to the high communication that it has provided for me and my company. The things that I have liked the most have been: 1- With the help of this platform, I have been able to maintain a much more versatile and broad communication within my work team and within my entire company. With the help of this platform, I have been able to create a channel where all my employees can access and communicate with each other. It is important to highlight that I have loved the way in which I can create new chat rooms within this channel. This allows me to divide the work teams. This means that the marketing team and the sales team will be able to communicate separately and thus be able to have an order within the members of each communication channel. I love the way in which I can organize all my employees in different channels. 2- Another feature that I liked is that this platform provides me with unbeatable quality in video and audio transmissions. Each communication channel has the ability for one of the members to transmit the screen of their device, or use their camera. It is important to highlight the excellent quality with which this process is carried out. The video quality is quite noticeable and surpasses any other communication platform. 3- I also liked that this platform has a real-time chat service. In this way, all members of a communication channel can communicate with each other and share all kinds of ideas, information or data. The channel works in real time, each of the messages are reflected in real time, and this helps to maintain constant communication. The chat is also interactive, since it allows you to send any type of stickers, emojis, images, or videos. 4- The way Discord works on mobile devices is also something I should highlight, as this platform provides me with a mobile app, it is quite complete and offers background operation which helps to maintain communication while I perform other tasks on my device. The first thing I like about the Discord platform is that it is a very easy to use platform, you can easily connect with anyone, and you can join any call that is being made in any of the groups created within any of the channels. in which you are joined, you can turn on the camera during that call, you can interact through the various chats that exist within each channel. Another positive thing is that discord allows you to create a custom channel, you can add Bots within each Discord channel, you can customize the sub-channels, you can view a live stream within each Discord channel, also, I love being able to use Discord on background, this way I can use other apps while communicating with different people within Discord. I love the general interface of Discord, it helps a lot that it's comfortable and easy to use, plus there is no limit to the number of channels you can join. Discord is an incredible platform to be able to customize the way you communicate with different people, one of the main positive features that Discord has is that this platform has a long limit when it comes to adding channels, you can join different channels to communicate with different people in the number of channels you join, in addition, there will also be no limits on the number of messages or content that you can share through any communication channel within Discord. Another positive effect that this platform has is that you can completely customize your profile within Discord, this profile can be customized by adding your social networks or primary contact information, in addition, you can also link some third-party applications to the platform so that others can see what are you playing, that you are listening to music or some other activity. Another positive feature that I must highlight about this platform is the video transmission and audio transmission, the Videos transmitted within each communication channel are of a quite good quality, you will be able to configure the transmission quality before starting it, in addition, you will be able to configure each communication channel, you can configure the volume of the audio transmission or the quality in which you want to see a video transmission, it is important to highlight that the video transmission within each channel resources of the device, you can start a transmission from your computer without affecting the performance of your device. Discord also has an excellent notification system, this system allows you to receive alerts every time a new message is shared within a joint communication channel, in addition, it will also send you notifications when you receive a new call request or direct message. Discord offers a solid foundation for chat, video, and voice options. The web app, mobile app, and desktop app all work well, which is rare! Cons Notifications can get overwhelming when you're part of multiple active servers. The file upload limits can also be frustrating when trying to share larger documents or media files. I will mention the things that I did not like about Discord: 1- The first thing I did not like is that even though this platform allows you to transfer or upload any type of file within any communication channel, there is a limit on the weight of the file that you can upload to this Chat channel, I am quite negative, as it greatly limits the quality of the images. As well as it greatly limits the maximum weight that you can use for each file or document that you want to share with your colleagues, I would love for this weight limit for each of the files to be much more extensive so that I can transfer or share files with my colleagues in a much higher way. 2- Another thing I didn't like about this platform is that even though you can create specific channels for all types of company sectors, and thus divide the teams, you can't modify the general interface of each of the communication channels previously created for your work team. It would be amazing to be able to modify the general interface of a created channel, so we can modify the interface of the Team Chat, and much more. 3- Even though the screen broadcasts that are made within each communication channel are made through a fairly good video quality, I didn't like the fact that this video quality can't be reduced, since this video quality depends a lot on having a good Internet connection at all times to enjoy a fluidity in this video broadcast. Therefore, if you plan to make a video broadcast on one of the channels you have created, you must make sure that it has a fairly good Internet connection. The first negative aspect is that Discord has a lot of features that were only available using a Nitro version, there are a lot of features like stickers, emojis, you can't share a video with such a high weight within Discord channels, you can't share images that have such a high resolution Discord Nitro. I also don't like that Discord doesn't have any kind of free trial for it, its pricing is completely accessible to all users, but I would love a Discord Nitro free trial to exist. The first negative thing that I managed to perceive about this platform is that it does not have an extensive limit when it comes to sharing images or Videos within the Chat channels, currently you can share images of very low resolution and with a low weight, in addition, You can share it Videos so extensive, since to access these functions and limits so extensive you must subscribe to a Nitro plan within Discord. It is important to highlight that the plans within this platform are not expensive at all, however, it seems to me something quite negative that people have to pay additional money to share some type of image or video, in addition, users will not be able to share stickers either custom emojis or emojis within Chat channels if you don't have a Nitro subscription, it makes communication and diversification between communication channels quite simple. I have noticed when my desktop app is open that the mobile app will not send notifications, so I do sometimes miss items if I've accidentally left it open and walked away from my desk. It's obviously a minor inconvenience though.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I was pretty impressed with all that Lark has to offer. It has a great interface that's easily navigable. The chat interface is pretty cool , with features to reply to chosen messages, and also allows you to 'tick off' conversations that are over. It also has a built-in document sharer to share all sorts of files with your group, complete with comments and private drives. The video calling facility works great even on slow networks. Custom emoji reactions to chats are another feature I love. Lark available on cross-platform. It gives you the best group communication experience. You can do chat, video conferencing, share docs and drive access. From a single platform. Cons I haven't had any major cons for Lark. But the chat interface on video conferences is pretty small, which makes it difficult to navigate through the messages. I'm pretty impressed with Lark app platform. No cons.
