Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Benchmark Email is the smartest way to do email marketing. I like that it is easy to use and it contains beautiful templates to create stunning emails for our clients. It lets me customize every aspect of the email for it to look the way we want it to and it has smart technology to always make sure that our emails will have a high open rate and keep our clients interested in the content we put out. This software has multiple tools that enhance our marketing workflow and it automates our process with features that can be configured to immediately communicate with our clients once they sign up to our newsletter. This keeps our customers engaged and it ensures that our next newsletters will actually be delivered to the email address provided. Benchmark offers a complete automated marketing cycle that helps improve our relationship with customers as we can better control the content that we create and the timeline this content is sent, increasing our leads and upgrading our customer experience. I also like the vast variety of color palettes that it offers for our emails and how we can customize our own palette to make it look more special, and its technology, along with the built-in photo editor, allows us to study our campaigns and know which mock-ups will gain more attention according to their testing that most of the time tends to be very accurate and it adjusts to our past projects and past data to help us improve our marketing strategies in the future. Besides, Benchmark has many good tools for our small business and it has a high contact limit that adjusted to our needs when we first signed up, providing a great and affordable plan that offers most important features that lets me study and analyze our customers’ behavior in regards to our campaigns and how they interact with them. I like that I can customize our reports between live engagement, hourly open rates, device variability, and click rates, as it helps me understand more the type of public that we have and how different they are from each other, and what we can do for every type of customer to keep and improve their engagement rates, and to effectively turn a lead into an actual customer of our products. Cons Benchmark Email currently doesn’t offer the email whitelabeling option for the plan that we use, which means that sometimes our emails get sent to spam folders because it cannot be fully verified that the newsletters/campaigns belong to our business, or sometimes they end up in the promotions folder for Gmail, which is also an issue as we end up with lower open rates when this happens. This sometimes causes issues for us as we don’t know which emails or which campaigns will end up not being successful, which is my main issue with this software as it doesn’t provide a stable service and deliverability that we can fully rely on for our email marketing projects. Additionally, we have had issues regarding the looks of our emails in the mobile version, even though we have edited our content to make it fit for mobile, it will sometimes happen that it won’t save and it causes issues on the final result; we have brought up this issue with the customer support and I truly hope that they are working to fix this and improve their formatting issues on any device. Also, the lack of a mobile app that helps me send our newsletters more efficiently is a big concern for me and I hope that it will become available soon.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I have used Mailchimp for many years. When we launched our platform for camp ground and outdoor adventure parks a few years back I defaulted to using Mailchimp because of my experience with their platform. It has matured a lot over the years but it still remains very easy to use with drag and drop email templates, sequences, and has much stronger contact management capabilities than when I first started with the tool. Mailchimp is easy to set up and add contacts to. The AI and automated templates provided are helpful. Suggestions given about sentences and titles are very useful. Mailchimp is extremely intuitive and easy to use and we've never had a major issue. The email builder is so easy to use and does everything you'd hope it would. Simple to format and send large group emails/updates. Including a branding kit for Church logos and fonts would be great and bulk deletion of uploads would be helpful. I don’t like much right now about Mailchimp. We have tried to contact you via chat and online without a response at all about why not we cannot add photographs to our emails anymore. We used to be able to use that feature. Cons You do have to pay based on total contacts so even as people unsubscribe you can end up paying for people you can't market to. But you also can't remove them from your list as you need to be able to track their unsubscribe data in case it is questioned in the future. Slightly more suited to American consumers. But easy to adapt for NZ. Some of the audience management functions could be a bit easier to use, especially when you have duplicates who have an incorrect email address and a correct one--it would be great to flag those. If it had a convert to print format feature, I would be hooked! To be able to generate printed church Bulletins from the weekly email would be amazing!!! I don’t like your lack of response. We have tried to reach you via chat and an email.
