Sadly there's no direct emailing option in Pootle right now, although it 
won't be that hard to develop such a feature.

The nearest thing to that is using the project news, but there's no 
assurance that translators will read the latest news either on Pootle or 
through the RSS feed.

On top of this, being able to send personal messages between users would 
be useful, too.
