Hi. I'm trying to get ROC curves in gnuplot. If somebody doesn't know what kind of ROC curves - it's easy to explain what I want to have example: xrange - 0:100 yrange - 0:100 I have 3 points (0,0), (100, 100) and (80,20) what I want it's to connect this point whith curves not lines. I tried to use function fit (with a*exp(X*b), a*log(x*b) or even a*x**3 + b) but it doesn't works... I know that as more point I have that easier I can plot my curves, but unfortunately I can have only this 3 points. Maybe here is anybody who can help me with that problem and know something what can put me on the right track... Hi. I'm looking for a "dynamic web interface" to Gnuplot. What I'd like to be able is, that I would like to zoom in/out by drawing rectangles on the plot, I'd like to "scroll" to the right/left/up/down and, if there is more than one curve shown on the graph, I'd like to be able to selectively turn on/off curves. But the most important feature request is the ability to zoom and move the window. Does anyone about such a thing? Cheers, Michael |

Ok, this makes more sense now. I'm sure it's obvious to some. Was not obvious to me. I'm still trying to understand parametric mode. I would like to be able to create a plot like that using experimental data. Could one z-value be assigned zero all the time and the other z-value be the z from the x,y,z triple from the file? Maybe I'm going about this all wrong. The data is like this: col. 1 = date/time col. 2-25 = data for hours 0-23 So the data are in rows. Does gnuplot not like data in rows? One of the things I've noticed is that the gnuplot demos I find don't have the actual data files used to create the plots. Since gnuplot has its own language, I find that as with any other language, language examples to be the best way to learn. So am I missing the data files? I just use the gnuplot.info site to look at the examples. Maybe there's a better way. |

The problem with dashes and the like in pixel formats is that they don't come out very well. I guess that's the reason the option for dashes/dots don't exist. Hi, I created SVG 3d plots for some scientific data, and I need to be able to rotate the 3d plot. I'd like to do that in the browser that displays the SVG plot, using javascript to redraw the plot. I know that I could simply re-generate the plot in gnuplot and setting different view points, but that would be inefficient. the problem is I don't know about graphics and I don't know well how to do it. SVG stores the plot in DOM, and I want to apply the necessary transforms to the elements in the DOM. But I'm not sure what these transforms (transformation matrix? *) should be to rotate in 3d the plot. Has anyone tried this with svg plots from gnuplot? I know this question is not strictly on gnuplot. Nonetheless, I thought that maybe someone here may have tried this. I couldn't find any examples on the internet. I'd much appreciate any hints.
