Sevgili Arkadaşlar, Uzun süredir kodlamamız olarak ISO8859-9 kullanmaktayız. Gelecek UTF-8'de, fakat bir süre bekledik. Gelinen durum: 1. Kbabel kullanıyorsanız bu bir iki ayarı değiştirmek kadar basit. 2. Gettext arka planda çeviriyi otomatik olarak kullanıcının kodlama sistemine çeviriyor. Yani kullanıcı ISO-8859-9 kullanıyorsa arka plandaki dosyanın UTF olması bir şeyi değiştirmez hale geldi. Gettext'in bu sürümü bir süredir yaygın kullanımda. 3. KDE altyapısında UTF kullanıyor. Bir süredir de bunu devam ettiriyor. Gnome, 2.0 ile birlikte böyle bir yapıya kavuşacak. Dolayısıyla UTF artık kimsenin kullanmadığı, deneysel bir şey olmaktan çıktı. Eğer kabul ederseniz, Türkçe dilinin ön tanımlı kodlamasını UTF-8'e değiştirmeyi planlıyorum. Kbabel kullananlarımız da gerekli kodlama ayarını yaparak UTF-8'de kodlayabilirler. Ne dersiniz? Sevgili Çevirmenlerimiz, Projemize yeni arkadaşlarımızın katılması ile birlikte zaman zaman neyi nasıl yaptığımız hakkında duyuru olmasında fayda var: 1. Çeviri güncellemeleri ve çevirmenler Çevirilerde esas, bir paketten bir çevirmenin sorumlu olması. Bu demektir ki, XXX paketini çevirirseniz, bundan sonra XXX paketine gelecek olan güncellemeleri de sizin yapmanız beklenmektedir. Eğer bunu yapmak istemezseniz, lütfen bana haber verin, güncellemeleri takip etmek için başka birisini görevlendirelim. Güncellemeleri yapmanız için gerekli araçlar, yeni çevirinin size bildirilmesidir ve yeni PO dosyasının temin edilmesidir. Hali hazırda çevirmenlere kişiye özel ve genel olarak listeye iki adet otomatik "güncellenecek paket var" duyurusu gönderilmekte ve PO dosyaları otomatik olarak emaille kendilerine gönderilmektedir. 2. Çeviri araçları Kbabel kullanmak zorunlu değildir. Fakat kbabel kullanmayan çevirmenlerde pek çok biçem hatası olmakta, bu da çevirinin kontrol ve kabul işlemlerini bir hayli güçleştirmektedir. Halen kbabel kullanmayan çevirmenlerin kbabel kullanmaları kendilerinin ve benim hayatımı kolaylaştıracaktır. 3. CVS CVS kullanmak zorunlu değildir. Fakat CVS kullanmayıp da çevirilerini kendi makinalarında bozukluklar nedeni ile kaybeden çevirmenlere yardımcı olmamız mümkün değildir. CVS'i çevirmenlerimize bir hizmet olarak sunuyoruz. Sourceforge ve bizim proje özelimizde cvs kullanmakla ilgili bilgiler web sitemizde ÇSS altında yer almaktadır. 4. Projeye göndermek. Çeviriyi göndermekte esas, çevirmenin kendisinin projeye direkt göndermesidir. Bununla ilgili bilgiyi web sitemizde (http://gnu-tr.sourceforge.net) adresinde ÇSS altında bulabilirsiniz. Projeye gönderdiğiniz dosya bir takım otomatik kontrollere tabi tutulmakta ve eğer biçem hatası bulunur ise reddedilerek size neden reddedildiği ile ilgili bilgi verilmektedir. Lütfen bu biçem hatalarını gözden geçirin. Pek çok arkadaş red mesajını kabul zannettiklerinden olsa gerek, projeye bir kere gönderip bırakıyorlar. Selamlar, Yakin zamanda sanirim "translation project robot" guncellenmis, ve artik gonderilen katalog dosyalarini denetlerken 'mgsattrib' de kullaniyor. Bununla ilgili sorun yasayan oldu mu? Bugun birkac saattir bununlar ugrasiyorum, ama sanirim en sonunda sorunun nereden kaynakalndigini anladim: mgsattrib katalog dosyalarini tam anlamiyla rezil ediyor. Urettigi ciktida msgid'lerle msgstr'leri garip sekillerde eslestirip cevirileri birbirine karistiriyor. mgsattrib'in gettext0.11'den cikanini kullaniyorum, sanirim bu son versiyon ve mgsattrib ilk bu surumde ortaya cikmis. Hi,
A group of KDE translators is currently unifying its efforts to start
a translation company.
In our attempts to get our first clients, we would have the opportunity
to translate an ERP software running under Windows and Linux. This
particular task would last approximately two weeks to one month, and
new missions could be given to you then if this client is pleased. You
would be working in teams of two persons per language, or one person if
we cannot find a work fellow for you. Your tools would be kbabel, irc
and a simple text editor. You would translate from English or German (at
your choice) to one of these languages:
- Polish
- Czech
- Hungarian
- Greek
- Turkish
- Romanian
Of course, as a translations vendor, we will keep needing translators,
so this could become a regular activity if you enjoy working with us.
If you are currently looking for a job, or if you have enough free time
to translate about 1,000 words a day during a few weeks, and if you like
working in a team from your computer at home please consider joining this
adventure where all people are free sofware enthousiasts. You would be
paid as a contractor and the pay is very interesting.
Non serious persons, persons with problems in orthographe or grammar, and
persons with poor knowledge of the source language, please do not apply.
You must speak the target language as your mother language.
