Hi, i have this problem i added effects on equalizer apo and it doesnt affect my mic in any way (even if i used the basic ones builded into the app)

    i tried to:

    • Reinstall
    • switch to older version
    • troubleshoot as LFX/GFX , SFX/MFX , SFX/EFX
    • use other mic

i added attachments below so it will be easier to tell if i have something wrong.

Well it isn't the issue you should at least add a device selection command before all other ones in ddddd.txt, in your case before the first VST plugin. If you haven't done this yet all the VST plugins will act upon every audio device. And note that the above device dropdown box doesn't select the mic. It's only there for the graph. (It's confusing)

Have you tried if the Equalizer APO works when using a simple recording app like Audacity? Some streaming apps have difficulties with Equalizer APO or any APO (sound effect/enhancement). For instance for Discord you need to try all Audio subsystem settings, usually 'Automatic' works but first do the things listed below.

    • The Audio enhancements of the mic must be on Default Device Effects (Windows settings -> System -> Sound -> Click your mic and scroll down to Audio enhancements).
    • The streaming/recording app must be pushed to use WASAPI shared mode so uncheck all Exclusive checkboxes which are shown in the screenshot.

At least you did everything that's needed. Sometimes it can be difficult to get Equalizer APO going on a mic. Unfortunately I don't know why this is.

However, looking at your screenshot I see that you're using a file called Ok.txt. Has this been included in config.txt as this is the (only) root file Equalizer APO 's sound manipulation engine is reading.
