GCSF
a FUSE file system based on Google Drive
GCSF is a virtual filesystem that allows users to mount their Google Drive account locally and interact with it as a regular disk partition. Update (April 2019): I am currently still using and maintaining this project but I have very little time to dedicate to it. As such, it might take a while before I get around to fixing known bugs / implementing feature requests / responding to open issues. Thank you for understanding and for expressing sustained interest in this project. GCSF requires the stable branch of the Rust programming language, which can be installed following the instructions on rustup.rs. If you already have Rust installed, make sure that it is updated to the latest version (≥1.26). Make sure you have pkg-config and the fuse library installed. These are usually found in the package repositories of major distributions. Rust can be installed via the lang/rust port. You will need to install sysutils/fusefs-libs for the cairo install command to succeed. -

Ddrutility is no longer actively supported. I was sure I had that information on here, but it seems to have disappeared , so I am stating it again. IOS6 and recent iTunes updates have broken a few features. We have made some partial fixes, but they are not complete. If you'd like to help support our development, or take over the development please let us know. Explore the internal file structure of your iphone (or of a seized phone in the case of forensic teams) using either the iphone's own backup files or (for jail broken iphones) ssh. Viewing of plist, sqlite, and hex are supported. IOS 5 is now supported iOS 6 only partially works at the moment (some features fail or are missing). Unfortunately paid work means we can't fix this right now, but would welcome anyone else submitting patches.

MicroFormat
A Windows Format Tool for USB and Physical volumes
A simple Windows tool that can format USB or physical volumes to either NTFS or FAT32. It supports custom Volume names and quick formatting. Done out of boredom and curiosity for practicing purposes. The program will refuse to format the Windows partition. Because the Windows partition is not always C, the check is not hard-coded. Rather, I perform a comparison between the currently selected volume to format and the known System volume. If they match, I trip a flag. -

Watchman
A file watching service that records when files change
Watchman purpose is to watch files and record when there are changes. It can trigger actions (rebuilding assets, for example) when there is a change in matching files. The watchman executable has both the client and the server components of the watchman service. When running watchman, it will attempt to communicate with your existing server instance (each user has their own persistent process), and will attempt to start it if it doesn’t exist. There are some options that affect how watchman will locate the server, some options that affect only the client and some others that affect only the server. Since all of the options are understood by the same executable we’ve broken those out into sections of their own to make it clearer when they apply. Watchman is conservative, preferring to err on the side of caution; it considers files to be freshly changed when you start to watch them or when it is unsure. -
