WipeFreeSpace
Secure wiping/shredding of free disk space with many methods
WipeFreeSpace is a program to securely erase/wipe/overwrite/shred the free space on file systems WITHOUT DESTROYING EXISTING FILES, to prevent recovery of deleted sensitive data. This allows protecting the user's privacy when e.g. selling the drive or the whole computer. The following filesystems are supported: - Ext2/3/4, - NTFS, - XFS, - ReiserFSv3/4, - FAT12/16/32, - MinixFS1/2, - JFS, - HFS/HFS+, - OCFS. The following wiping methods are supported: Gutmann-like, random, Schneier, DoD. Additionally, WipeFreeSpace can finalize wiping the filesystem by writing blocks of zeros, which is friendly for sparse files, virtual systems and other places where zeroed-out space is not physically allocated. UglifyJS 3
JavaScript parser, mangler, compressor, beautifier toolkit
UglifyJS is a JavaScript compressor/minifier written in JavaScript. It also contains tools that allow one to automate working with JavaScript code. A parser which produces an abstract syntax tree (AST) from JavaScript code. A code generator which outputs JavaScript code from an AST, also providing the option to get a source map. A compressor (optimizer). it uses the transformer API to optimize an AST into a smaller one. A mangler, reduce names of local variables to (usually) single-letters. A scope analyzer, which is a tool that augments the AST with information about where variables are defined/referenced etc. A tree walker, a simple API allowing you to do something on every node in the AST. A tree transformer, another API intended to transform the tree. All the above utilities and APIs are defined in ~6500 lines of code (except for the effective generation of the source-map, which is handled by the source-map module). Compared to alternatives, UglifyJS is pretty small. -

Watchman
A file watching service that records when files change
Watchman purpose is to watch files and record when there are changes. It can trigger actions (rebuilding assets, for example) when there is a change in matching files. The watchman executable has both the client and the server components of the watchman service. When running watchman, it will attempt to communicate with your existing server instance (each user has their own persistent process), and will attempt to start it if it doesn’t exist. There are some options that affect how watchman will locate the server, some options that affect only the client and some others that affect only the server. Since all of the options are understood by the same executable we’ve broken those out into sections of their own to make it clearer when they apply. Watchman is conservative, preferring to err on the side of caution; it considers files to be freshly changed when you start to watch them or when it is unsure. -
