    mkcert

    mkcert

    Zero-config tool to make locally trusted development certificates

    mkcert is a simple tool for making locally-trusted development certificates. It requires no configuration. Using certificates from real certificate authorities (CAs) for development can be dangerous or impossible (for hosts like example.test, localhost or 127.0.0.1), but self-signed certificates cause trust errors. Managing your own CA is the best solution, but usually involves arcane commands, specialized knowledge and manual steps. mkcert automatically creates and installs a local CA in the system root store, and generates locally-trusted certificates. mkcert does not automatically configure servers to use the certificates, though, that's up to you. The CA certificate and its key are stored in an application data folder in the user's home. You usually don't have to worry about it, as the installation is automated, but the location is printed by mkcert -CAROOT.

    Goose Developer Agent

    Goose Developer Agent

    Goose is a developer agent that operates from your command line

    Goose is a developer agent that supercharges your software development by automating an array of coding tasks directly within your terminal or IDE. Guided by you, it can intelligently assess your project's needs, generate the required code or modifications, and implement these changes on its own. Goose can interact with a multitude of tools via external APIs such as Jira, GitHub, Slack, infrastructure and data pipelines, and more -- if your task uses a shell command or can be carried out by a Python script, Goose can do it for you too! Like semi-autonomous driving, Goose handles the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus on other priorities. Simply set it on a task and return later to find it completed, boosting your productivity with less manual effort.

    C/C++ for Visual Studio Code

    C/C++ for Visual Studio Code

    Repository for the Microsoft C/C++ extension for VS Code

    The C/C++ extension adds language support for C/C++ to Visual Studio Code, including features such as IntelliSense and debugging. C/C++ support for Visual Studio Code is provided by a Microsoft C/C++ extension to enable cross-platform C and C++ development on Windows, Linux, and macOS. C++ is a compiled language meaning your program's source code must be translated (compiled) before it can be run on your computer. VS Code is first and foremost an editor, and relies on command-line tools to do much of the development workflow. The C/C++ extension does not include a C++ compiler or debugger. You will need to install these tools or use those already installed on your computer. There may already be a C++ compiler and debugger provided by your academic or work development environment. Check with your instructors or colleagues for guidance on installing the recommended C++ toolset (compiler, debugger, project system, linter).

    JUnit 5

    JUnit 5

    Programmer-friendly testing framework for Java and the JVM

    The 5th major version of the programmer-friendly testing framework for Java and the JVM. JUnit 5 is the next generation of JUnit. The goal is to create an up-to-date foundation for developer-side testing on the JVM. This includes focusing on Java 8 and above, as well as enabling many different styles of testing. Official CI build server for JUnit 5. Used to perform quick checks on submitted pull requests and for build matrices including the latest released OpenJDK and early access builds of the next OpenJDK. The JUnit Platform serves as a foundation for launching testing frameworks on the JVM. It also defines the TestEngine API for developing a testing framework that runs on the platform. Furthermore, the platform provides a Console Launcher to launch the platform from the command line and the JUnit Platform Suite Engine for running a custom test suite using one or more test engines on the platform. First-class support for the JUnit Platform also exists in popular IDEs.

    Thrive

    The main repository for the development of the evolution game Thrive

    Thrive is a free, open-source game about the evolution of life. From the lowly tidepools of your home planet, you will rise to cosmic dominance. At every step, powerful creation tools and deep simulation mechanics will aid your species’ development. Our team seeks to accomplish two major goals: create engaging, compelling gameplay that respects our players’ intelligence, and remain as accurate as possible in our depiction of known scientific theory without compromising the former. Thrive will encapsulate the player in the wonders of science and the universe, allowing them to manipulate the virtual world around them with editors to modify technology, culture, organisms, and entire solar systems. Seven stages are planned, Microbe, Multicellular, Aware, Awakening, Society, Industrial and Space, though for the moment we’re only focusing on the first of these.

    Dear ImGui

    Dear ImGui

    Bloat-free Graphical User interface for C++ with minimal dependencies

    Dear ImGui is a bloat-free graphical user interface library for C++. It outputs optimized vertex buffers that you can render anytime in your 3D-pipeline enabled application. It is fast, portable, renderer agnostic and self-contained (no external dependencies). Dear ImGui is designed to enable fast iterations and to empower programmers to create content creation tools and visualization / debug tools (as opposed to UI for the average end-user). It favors simplicity and productivity toward this goal, and lacks certain features normally found in more high-level libraries. Dear ImGui is particularly suited to integration in games engines (for tooling), real-time 3D applications, fullscreen applications, embedded applications, or any applications on consoles platforms where operating system features are non-standard. The core of Dear ImGui is self-contained within a few platform-agnostic files which you can easily compile in your application/engine.

    Gleam

    Gleam

    A friendly language for building type-safe, scalable systems!

    Gleam's powerful static type system helps find and prevent bugs at compile time, long before it reaches your users. It also serves as a productive refactoring tool, enabling programmers to confidently make large changes to unfamiliar code, quickly and with low risk. For problems, the type system can't solve (such as your server being hit by a bolt of lightning) the Erlang virtual machine provides well-tested mechanisms for gracefully handling failure. Hunting down bugs can be stressful so Gleam's compiler provides clear and helpful feedback about any problems. We want to spend more time developing features and less time looking for bugs or deciphering cryptic error messages. Gleam builds on top of the Erlang virtual machine, a best-in-class runtime that has enabled companies such as Discord, Ericsson, Heroku, and WhatsApp to provide low-latency services at a global scale. Gleam takes full advantage of the Erlang runtime and adds no overhead of its own.

    Selenium

    Selenium

    Browser automation framework and ecosystem

    Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should) also be automated as well. If you want to create robust, browser-based regression automation suites and tests, scale and distribute scripts across many environments, then you want to use Selenium WebDriver, a collection of language specific bindings to drive a browser - the way it is meant to be driven. If you want to create quick bug reproduction scripts, create scripts to aid in automation-aided exploratory testing, then you want to use Selenium IDE; a Chrome and Firefox add-on that will do simple record-and-playback of interactions with the browser. If you want to scale by distributing and running tests on several machines and manage multiple environments from a central point.

    Red Panda Dev-C++

    Red Panda Dev-C++

    A powerful and lightweighted C/C++ IDE

    This project is mainly for users of windows XP. Users of windows 7/8/10/11 should consider Red Panda C++ ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/redpanda-cpp/ ). Red Panda Dev-C++ (Dev-Cpp) is a greatly improved fork of Bloodshed Dev-C++ and Orwell Dev-C++. It provides many features that old versions (and Embarcadero dev-c++) lacks, and lots of bug fixes and enhancements. Highlights of its new and enhanced feature: * Code intellisense (Code Completion suggestion while editing). * Syntax check while editing * Greatly improved debugger (local \ call stack panels added) * Full color scheme support. * Symbol completion works like other modern IDE (like IDEA and VS code) * UTF-8 encoding support * Greatly improved search/replace function * Refactor: rename symbols, extracting marco * new project templates like graphics.h, turtle graphics, GLFW+GLEW,GLUT,etc. And more , see News.txt Issues can be reported at https://github.com/royqh1979/Dev-CP
