photon is an open-source geocoder built for OpenStreetMap data. It is based on elastic search - an efficient, powerful and highly scalable search platform. photon was started by komoot and provides search-as-you-type and multilingual support. TomoJ is an ImageJ plug-in for tomographic reconstruction. It was designed for electron tomography, however any acquisition with parallel beam should work. TomoJ proposes the preprocessing and the registration of tilt-series prior to 3D reconstructions (WBP, ART, SIRT, OS-SART, compressed sensing). TomoJ is written in Java, the computations are multithreaded and reconstruction can be performed on CPU or GPU (OpenCL). registration is described in: Journal of Structural Biology: X. 2020, Volume 4. openTCS is a platform-independent transportation control system (TCS) intended to manage fleets of automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), but can be used to manage virtually any automatic vehicle. It consists of an abstract kernel that implements replaceable algorithms and strategies (computation of routes, dispatching of orders to vehicles, scheduling of resources etc.), pluggable vehicle drivers that implement communication protocols and a graphical frontend for creating and visualizing logical models of areas the vehicles are moving in.

Hadoop-BAM is a Java library for the manipulation of files in common bioinformatics formats using the Hadoop MapReduce framework with the Picard SAM JDK, and command line tools similar to SAMtools. The file formats currently supported are BAM, SAM, FASTQ, FASTA, QSEQ, BCF, and VCF.
