    Raman Data Search and Storage (RDSS) software was developed as an analytical tool for a fast and accurate identification of unknown minerals by comparison of their spectra with the indexed library of data. A search function was implemented to enable users to find a specific peak value. Using the asterisk character (*) as a placeholder for one or more unknown peak value(s), the software will return the best match(es). Besides the search utility by the Raman band positions, which was proven to be priceless in the interpretation of Raman spectra, the RDSS software gives the user the ability to display and inspect the Raman spectra quickly and very efficiently. Users can zoom into the Raman spectrum, shift in any direction the wavenumber and the intensity axes, and if any part of the spectral display is clicked, that region will be highlighted and the specific wavenumber returned. A photo for every sample entry stored in the database is also available.

    EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.

    An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation. Based on two classical hypothesis testing, EDMFit provides a reliable outlier detection. For uncertainties budgeting, EDMFit makes use of Monte-Carlo simulations and supports different distribution function: - Uniform distribution, - Triangular distribution and - Gaussian (normal) distribution. For refractive index determination, the application supports the following models: - Barrel and Sears (1939), - Edlen (1953, 1966), - Owens (1967), - IAG (1999) and - Ciddor (1996, 2002). The results of the adjustment are reported in a template-based and valid HTML5/CSS3 report.

    CONMAP is a console program to aid in geobody connection analysis in geosciences. It accepts input and outpts results in GEO-EAS (GSLIB) format for easy interoperability with most geoscience softwares. To get help in usage, simply run the program without arguments. CONMAP is a Java 1.7 program. Open a command prompt, go to the directory where you download CONMAP.jar and enter the command "java -jar CONMAP.jar <arguments>" (without quotation marks) to run the program. Geobody detection itself runs pretty fast, with almost all execution time spent in file loading, parsing and saving. New features in version 2.0: geobody walk, vertical transitions count and mean thickness. See details running CONMAP without arguments.
