OpenGrowth
OpenGrowth is a program which constructs de novo ligands for proteins.
OpenGrowth is a research program which grows new ligands in proteins by connecting small organic fragments. The details can be found in the original publication "OpenGrowth: an automated and rational algorithm for finding new protein ligands" (J. Med. Chem., http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/acs.jmedchem.5b00886). To use OpenGrowth, you will need OpenGrowth_1.0.zip and Resources_1.0.2.zip that can be found by clicking on the Files menu in the horizontal bar at the top (https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengrowth/files). OpenGrowthGUI, FOG2.0, and the 3Mer-Screen stand-alone can be found in OpenGrowth_1.0.zip. To prepare new fragments you need BuildingFragments_1.0.1.zip and the scripts for MD simulations are in MD-Scripts_1.0.1.zip. SMoG2016.tar.gz allows to compute a score with the newly developed function (J. Chem. Inf. Mod., http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.jcim.6b00610). Renewable Energy Network tool
SIREN demonstrates how electricity demand may be met by a mix of renewable energy sources. Users explore potential location and scale of renewable energy sources (stations, storage, transmission) to meet electricity demand. SIREN allows you to build scenarios for the energy mix for your area of interest. It is based around the map of your chosen area and allows you to visualise the layout of the existing electricity network plus the additional stations you place on the map to build your scenario(s). The map initially shows the main skeleton of the existing electricity grid infrastructure and current generation stations. The strength of the simulation is in running the SAM models developed by US NLR for each renewable station in your current simulation. SAM calculates a list of power outputs for each hour of the year and shows how they meet the electricity demand and identify generation shortfalls. Weather files created from satellite data make it applicable worldwide -

TFEL/MFront
TFEL/MFront introduces DSLs based on C++ to handle material knowledge
The TFEL library is a collaborative effort of the French Atomic Commission and Électricité de France. TFEL mostly includes the MFront code generator. MFront is based on C++ and provides several domain specific languages which were designed to simplify the implementations of new material properties, mechanical behaviours and simple material models. A particular focus was made on mechanical behaviours which are by essence more complex and may have significant impact on the numerical performances of mechanical simulations. Various performance benchmarks show that the code generated using MFront is in most cases on par or better than other implementations, generally written in Fortran. For mechanical behaviours, MFront introduces interfaces for various finite element or FTT solvers (Cast3M, Code-Aster, ZeBuLoN, Abaqus, Europlexus, AMITEX_FFT, etc..). The authors hope that it will prove usefull for researchers and engineers, in particular in the field of solid mechanics. -
