YAWL is a BPM/Workflow system. Based on a concise and powerful modelling language, YAWL handles complex data, transformations, integration with organizational resources and Web Service integration. Built in Java, it uses XML Schema and XQuery natively.
The most complete opensource BPM I have found. The editor is good and the notation concise. It is possible to design very complex workflows with no fuss. I think they should start a forum in the main page in other to gain user adoption. Sourceforge forum is not good enough.
We use YAWL in our company already. Really great project! Especially the fact that it is open source makes it very easy for us to do source code modifications. The one to two day delay in responding on new messages in the forum could be improved, but otherwise a top project!
