A program that batch convert ogm, mkv to avi, with subtitle and audio track selection, video resizing, bitrate selection and codec selection. It is centered around mencoder, with a commandline tool as well as a GUI for Window
Would could be a semi-decent program is completely ruined by the utterly idiotic use of music. The fact there is not even seem to be the option to disable this is downright idiotic.
Just works, if you don't like its format don't use it, or write your own! I can't write anymore cause of a brain aneurysm so I really appreciate programs that work. The music has a off option, look for it before you squawk. Check "Do not play on start."
sure it's got a few minor annoyances and bugs but it's invaluable in converting many different file types to .avi. Occasionally, it crashes or fails to convert an odd codec. And it struggles with some types of .mov/.qt files. But it is fast and reliable in most cases. And yes you can turn off the music, Thanks guys!
