Audio toolkit for streaming, aiming at complex Internet radio systems. Our stream generator is highly extensible and flexible. Script based, it can be a fully automatic daemon streamer, but is also used for live shows with an user-friendly GUI.

VLC media player is simple, fast, and powerful. It plays everything, files, discs, webcams, devices, and streams. VLC plays most codecs (MPEG-2, DivX, H.264, MKV, WebM, WMV, MP3, etc.) so no codec packs are needed. It runs on all platforms: Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Unix, etc. And VLC is hassle free with no spyware, no ads, and no user tracking.

Subsonic is a web-based media streamer, providing ubiquitous access to your music and video collection. More than 20 apps are available for Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Roku, Chumby, Sonos etc. Supports virtually all media formats, converting files on the fly. Also includes a Podcast receiver and jukebox feature allowing you to control what's playing on your computer from your mobile phone.

Live MP3/OGG/AAC Flash Player for Icecast and Shoutcast. It has some interesting and necessary features like reconnect on network errors to make sure users never get silence and cache management to avoid memory memory consumption. Works with Flash 10.1 and newer.

YouTube-DL-PyTK (formerly known as YouTube-DL-GTK) is just a graphical launcher for the popular youtube downloader youtube-dl . Its purpose is simple; to facilitate the downloading of non-copyright-protected videos from certain internet websites including YouTube. It is written in Python, so it should run on Windows and Linux systems alike. I don't have access to an Apple computer to test it on Mac OS, but it might also work on that platform. Watch and download files from direct links and youtube links. When user forwards the video, the download point also shifts. The previous buffer is not deleted. You can play the video on any video player. Any file format is supported. Do not confuse this with ytd (youtube downloader) it does not only let you download videos, it also lets you play the video as you are watching it. If you forward the video to a point where no buffer exists, a new connection is created and also the old data is NOT deleted.
