aTunes is a powerful, full-featured, cross-platform player and manager, with audio cd rip frontend. Currently supported formats are mp3, ogg, wav, wma, flac, mp4, ape, mpc, mac, radio streaming and podcasts.
Music player with a lot of potential.
Winamp broke on my system and I searched for a free replacement. I discovered Atunes and won't be going back to Winamp in the near, (Or distant) future.
It runs on Linux and is really neat. Comes with several skins/themes. It's much simpler than Amarok. It lists your directories and sub-directories in its Repository section just like you were using a file manager so it's very easy to browse and select your songs. Only drawback so far is that it does not include the Shoutcast list but only a Podcast list and another, abbreviated, internet radio station list so you must locate your URL and create your own Radio Station.
