Did great at finding my music and making a playlist. Has a cool feature, locates the words to the song highlighted, did this with accuracy and quickly.

Only one minor problem that I'm trying to figure out: After I'd installed the program on my old Ubuntu machine, it suddenly changed from the English language setting to Arabic and I have no clue how to change it back, since I know nothing about the Arabic language structure. I had used this before on Windows and liked it, which is why I came back to it for Linux. Any pointers would be appreciated on how to find my English lingo setting again :)

Definitely the best player I've used to date on Linux. There's still stuff 2 do but I like it anyway.

Winamp broke on my system and I searched for a free replacement. I discovered Atunes and won't be going back to Winamp in the near, (Or distant) future.

It runs on Linux and is really neat. Comes with several skins/themes. It's much simpler than Amarok. It lists your directories and sub-directories in its Repository section just like you were using a file manager so it's very easy to browse and select your songs. Only drawback so far is that it does not include the Shoutcast list but only a Podcast list and another, abbreviated, internet radio station list so you must locate your URL and create your own Radio Station.

atunes is essentially the best windows audio player out there; i do wish it could be more compact with a simplified interface yet maintain its near-perfect functionality.
