    Pros: It offers text, video and audio communication to shat in contact with family and colleagues. It's also has a mobile platform. Group chats are easy to add and share with the community.

    Cons: It worked great for me. Nothing to share about cons.

    Overall: Signal is a very handy private messaging tool. It offers a great encrypted chat box to communicate with family and colleagues. I highly recommend this messaging tool.

    "Excellent Secure Messaging App"

    Pros: Free & Open source
    Provides end to end encryption
    Group chat and video calling
    'Disappearing messages' feature
    Complete privacy - No IP or data logs
    No ads or trackers - No data collection
    Available across platforms and mobiles

    Cons: It requires a working phone number to sign up - it should be allowed to work with email for better privacy and accessibility. Apart from that it is a great app with no cons.

    Overall: Signal Messenger is one of the relatively newer messaging app with focus on one thing - Privacy. It provides some of the most secure features seen in any messaging app. It works great on all devices and is free for all.
