Nutshell

Pros: Nutshell is a user-friendly CRM that works well for managing contacts and sales activity. It’s intuitive and keeps our pipeline organized. Some advanced features may require setup and customization, but overall it’s a dependable tool.

Cons: There are too many features and settings and it can get very confusing.

Overall: Overall the program is very helpful for managing a CRM, it just isn't as user-friendly as I would like.

Cons: Sometimes buggy. Pages can freeze up but resolves itself with page refresh.

Overall: Great product and would recommend to others! It’s a great CRM that I use daily and very rarely have any issues.

Pros: Nutshell makes creating and notating leads extremely easy. I use this product daily and it really feels good to have such a reliable product!

Cons: Sometimes Nutshell is wonky and lags a lot. When this happens it makes it extremely difficult to create and managing leads!

Overall: Nutshell is a great way to create and manage leads. I use this everyday and it makes the entire process a breeze for my company and I!

Pros: I like the customizable lead cards and fields; it is helpful when adapting and expanding our pipelines.

Cons: Reporting needs to be improved; I would also like to see a weekly summary of activities and incorporating more AI.

Overall: Overall, we have had a good experience with Nutshell and appreciate that customer support is always timely and responsive.

Pros: It’s a great tool for client organization and management. It’s super helpful for if I need to jump in on someone else’s project and gives me all the info I need

Cons: It can be confusing to learn how to use. Lots of boxes to fill

Overall: Overall, it’s a great tool. I only have very minor issues with it and I think it fills a void that a lot of businesses have. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great and intuitive UX/UI, efficiency of workflows, strong email and other integrations, and mobile app quality. The mobile app allows for on-the-go solutions, email integrations are powerful for historical context, and it's highly intuitive to use versus legacy competitors. We can see in real-time across devices which opportunities are advancing and where others were left behind.

Cons: It's still a a CRM, I wish the search function was more comprehensive, and I'd love to be able to sync with other MSFT products like OneNote and Teams

Overall: Very positive experience compared to the "leading" CRMs I've used (Hubspot, Salesforce). So much more intuitive and lightweight for a small team - perfect for us.

Pros: The non profit I work for uses this software to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep moving forward! And customer support is nice because if I have a FAQ, then the chat bot can answer it. The bot starts off by saying if you want to talk with a real person then say that and we will get you connected, so there is no waiting and being frustrated with a robot.

Cons: The hard part of Nutshell is the same as any tech related thing. You have to figure out the different features. Nutshell provides support and trainings that give you an overview of how to use it as well as updated trainings when a new feature is added. So, once you learn the new feature, you are able to integrate it into making your job easier.

Overall: If it wasn't for Nutshell, I would have to keep a separate document to keep tabs on hundreds of people at a time, continuously searching my email to see if the person responded or if I still hadn't responded yet, having a separate calendar just for reminders to follow up with people after a certain amount of time, etc. However, with Nutshell, that is for the most part automated and all in one place. It saves me hours in my workday. I can just start doing the task I am supposed to.

Pros: Their customer service is fantastic. They are always quick to address the issue and fix it as necessary.

Cons: The system often times out, lags, slow. Tasks will disappear or not get logged.

Overall: If you are looking for a Budget friendly resource - Nutshell is the better option. They integrate well with other systems (like Microsoft teams.

Pros: Nutshell is easy to use and took little time to understand how to use the basic components. I have also found the application to be affordable for my small business. I like that it keeps track of all my interactions with my clients.

Cons: I would like the fonts to be larger and darker to make reading the content easier.

Overall: Overall I recommend this application for anyone in sales as I use it to keep track of leads and the resulting sales from those people who become clients.

Pros: Email, sales, and lead management all in one. Being able to email and call contacts directly from the system is a benefit

Cons: Lack of support, implementing workarounds because the team is unwilling to implement solutions for service based companies. "Nutshell isn't made for that, but you can do this instead and it kind of works"

Overall: Data inaccuracies, lack of trust in our lists, the "AI" has muddied our list and created many duplicates even though I have turned this feature off, it still adds irrelevant people and companies.

Pros: A solid, reliable CRM that excels at organizing client communication and adapting to relationship-driven workflows.

Cons: There is a learning curve for those who aren't familiar with CRMs and customer service could be a bit more hands-on.

Overall: Overall, it's been a good experience for us. Nutshell has completely streamlined our client communications. We use the pipelines as a customer journey tool rather than a sales funnel, and it has brought real clarity to how we work.

Pros: This product is extremely easy to use, anything that we have not been able to accomplish on our own has been easily solved using their long list of integrated partners!

Cons: Frequent updates to the user GUI can cause confusion for some of our employees.

Overall: I would recommend this product to any company of any size. I could go on for days about how much we enjoy this CRM.

Pros: The ability to track all our customers activity as they scroll through our website. I have not seen this feature in any other CRM

Cons: I cannot really find any con other that maybe having an on/off toggle for the AI features

Pros: How easy to use and onboard new employees, the overall level of customization available especially for integrating with our existing systems, and the short overall learning curve to use and customize it for our needs.

Cons: There’s really nothing to dislike from my end, it’s really easy to use and more importantly really easy to customize so that we rarely run into issues with it and when we do, it’s a user issue and not a platform issue. I honestly wish every other software was this well thought out!

Overall: I’ve been using Nutshell for a couple years now, first as a general user and now an admin too. It gets daily use from me and not having it would make my life so much more needlessly difficult. It truly solves a lot of minor problems and makes managing the larger issues much simpler. Having it interface with our existing system is amazing and saves a ton of time and expense for not having to migrate things from a legacy system.

Pros: This is a software you can teach anyone to use regardless of experience. It is very straight forward and user friendly.

Cons: I do wish there was a way to build routes within nutshell and see the accounts all on an integrated map

Overall: Overall this CRM is great for our team. The user friendly aspect is very important considering we have employees of all different ages and experience levels.

Pros: The customer service team has been great to work with. They are helpful on explaining features and also walking you through how to use them.

Cons: Some features we cannot use due to our higher level cyber security

Overall: I have enjoyed using this platform and I am continuing to customize the flow to meet our current needs.

Pros: Nutshell is easy to use and easy to onboard, its been useful for us for tracking leads, customers and output.

Cons: We are on the basic plan and I would like to have more of the pipeline features.

Overall: Working with Nutshell helps us keep track of what we need to do as a Sales team and pick up where colleagues left off if we need to. I think it is a great tool for small businesses like ours.

Pros: We receive Nutshell use as part of large agency agreement to a suite of various marketing platforms and tools. Excellent value for money. The fact that we can access landing page development, customer lead data etc. quickly and easily within a great UX is awesome.

Cons: Some limitations on how accessible it is to export customer data. Would like 2 way, real time updates to meeting management so availability is current.

Overall: We are really just getting started with this tool. We love the email feature- it's been very easy to get an email program up and running. Excellent, intuitive user interface. Looking to use more landing page and visitor IQ data. We leverage our agency for support, we have never used Nutshell customer support directly.
