Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros Smokeball does well all of the things I, and many modern law firms need including trust accounting and management, automatic time tracking, document templating and automation. This is a robust one platform access to all essential tools, process management , macro and micro analysis of our practice, and integration with other software allowing for ultimate cloud based organization. Continued product development and ease of access to training allows for growth and continued evolution of efficiency. It is truly a work from anywhere solution that allows you to control and evaluate overhead while providing a more uniform and reliable service for our clients. I like everything about Smokeball. I use it daily. I have been using Smokeball for over 2 years and don't see myself using any other program. Cons 1) Our onboarding process was managed by an external contractor and it was problematic. It's my understanding that Smokeball brought this in house; 2) We were required to finance our three-year contract up front which is a departure from how we are used to paying for monthly subscription services. Despite those challenges, I'm glad we adopted Smokeball and I do not see that it has any true competition. I truly only regret I didn't start with this software and had to go through the process of onboarding existing cases which lacked many of the benefits of being worked by a system like Smokeball. There is nothing that I can think of that I do not like.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros The layout makes it easy to access all the tools I need to get my work done. It's quick and manageable. We have had a very positive experience using Cerenade in our immigration practice. One of the aspects that stands out most is how easy the platform is to navigate. The system is well organized, and the case structure makes it simple to locate client information, documents, and case notes quickly. For a busy immigration office handling multiple case types such as Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and U Visa cases, having a platform where everything is centralized and clearly structured is extremely valuable. The interface is intuitive, allowing our legal assistants and support staff to learn the workflow without a long training period. Features such as case timelines, document storage, and internal notes are easy to access, which helps our team maintain efficiency and accuracy when working on client files. I like that the system is very simple easy to navigate and very straightforward. eIMMIGRATION is a very useful system for immigration practices with lots of features and customization to fit our needs. The support staff is incredibly helpful and always quick to reply with solutions or brainstorm processes. When there are issues with the software they are great about addressing them. Very efficient. Service has been very reliable. I loved it. Whenever I had any issue, the customer service was ready to help. Very helpful, friendly, and professional. Cons I don't like that only one user can access an account at one time. enhancements to automation and AI tools could make document assembly, case tracking, and reporting even more efficient for firms managing large case volumes. I haven't come across any cons since the system is very reliable. Depending on the type of cases, eIMMIGRATION can be inconsistent in how much software is built out in the form mapping and reports. Though they are quick to provide workarounds, it would be helpful in the long term if there was more support for CA state forms and an easier custom form mapping interface. Few brackets are non-responsive out has glitches. State or zip code wouldn’t pop up although they are filled up in clients’ profile, especially on G-28. There are few other spots where such issues are there. If Cerenade uses all the forms to test time by time, that could be very helpful to detect and improve the system.
