ContractSafe

Pros: I've been impressed with the features, especially the AI function that automatically identifies the start and expiration dates, the company, counterparties, and any other important information you need to identify. You can even set up notifications to alert you to upcoming expiration dates.

ContractSafe is one of the most intuitive services I've ever used. I signed up about a month ago, and I've already uploaded over 150 documents. I especially love the ability to tag each document, create links, and set up folders and subfolders to organize our documents easily.

The onboarding process was easy, and I had all the support I needed. Their security is top-notch as well.

Cons: There is not much I do not like about this service. Everything has been great so far.

Overall: We had our agreements, vendor contracts, and other documents all over the place. Our early-stage biotech company has numerous important NDAs, and many of them began expiring at the end of last year. We knew that our lack of tracking important expiration dates could cause issues in the near future if we didn't do something to automate this process.

In comes ContractSafe. I met with Charles to do a demo, and I was impressed with the features, especially the AI function that automatically identifies the start and expiration dates, the company, counterparties, and any other important information you need to identify. You can even set up notifications to alert you to upcoming expiration dates.

Pros: User friendly, great customer support, great storage capabilities, tagging feature is helpful, comments feature is useful.

Cons: I have not found anything I do not like about it yet.

Overall: Great application for organizing, reminding about expiration dates, and communicating with other staff. All of our staff that use it like the ease of use and capabilities.

Pros: The platform hits all of our needs with functionality. Our main use is to store and track contracts, licenses/permits, etc., and it does a great job at this. I like how date notifications can be customized--e.g., send out a reminder 90 days before expiration to specific users. It also allows you to tag specific portions of the contract and include notes for future reference. I like that contract templates are customizable as well, since we have several different types of documents we are tracking, and I can customize what information is input and tracked. Customer service has always been responsive.

Cons: There's little I don't like, but I wish there was a drag and drop feature to add contracts. Additionally, while the platform lets you customize views, which is helpful, I wish there was a way to automatically have a view associated with certain folders.

Overall: Overall, I'm very pleased with this platform. I would give it a 9/10, and I appreciate that they are continuing to look for ways to improve the platform. I looked at several other competitors, and for the price, which was significantly cheaper than other companies, it has all of the features we need. Highly recommend!
