"GET PAID!" Posted 2026-09-04
Pros: The ease of sending QUICK BILLS to clients make the use worth it! The fact that clients will pay their Bills much faster with a credit card helps my bottom line.
Cons: The fact that we no longer get an email with a COPY of the QUICK BILL sent to client.
The varied fees charged by LawPay and the fact that I cannot determine in advance what that fee will beOverall: Overall the ease of getting paid is appreciated. My bottom line is positively impacted by the regular use of LawPay

"Lawpay 8am Positive" Posted 2026-09-01
Pros: Ease of use; ability to send links, invoices, and quick bills. I like that the customer service is really helpful.
Cons: e-checks can bounce - they should not show completed until they are past the nsf point.
Overall: Other than having to wait 5 business days to enter e-checks due to the possibility they can bounce, I am otherwise happy with the service.

"Helpful and Simple" Posted 2026-09-01
Pros: Deadline management: Court-ordered mediation deadlines, document due dates, payment deadlines, conference dates, and follow-ups can be tracked rather than managed from memory or scattered emails.
Document control: Orders of referral, agreements to mediate, fee documents, mediation summaries, correspondence, reports, and administrative records can remain associated with the correct matter.
Contact management: Plaintiff counsel, defense counsel, assistants, parties, adjusters, corporate representatives, and other participants can be associated with the case.
Billing infrastructure: Your mediation charges, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances can be tracked alongside the matter rather than through a separate manual process.Cons: Confidentiality management requires discipline: Mediation files can contain sensitive and confidential information. You need clear internal rules about where mediation communications, caucus information, mediator notes, and general administrative records are stored.
Party-role confusion: Traditional legal CRMs tend to think in terms of “clients” and “opposing parties.” As mediator, neither side is your client in the traditional representation sense. Your contact classifications and templates need to reflect your neutrality.
Document duplication: Court documents may already exist in the court docket, while correspondence exists in email and copies are stored in MyCase. Without a document-management protocol, you can end up maintaining multiple versions.
Administrative burden: A sophisticated CRM only produces value if cases are consistently updated. As your caseload increases, entering notes, changing stages, recording payments, uploading documents, and closing files becomes another operating responsibility.
Cost increases with growth: Adding users, staff, or functionality can increase your recurring software expenditure. You should periodically evaluate the cost per active mediation.
Customization limitations: You can configure MyCase extensively, but it isn't a purpose-built mediation case-management platform. Eventually you may encounter processes that don't map cleanly into its architecture.
Risk of storing too much: A CRM makes it very easy to document everything. For a mediator, more documentation isn't automatically better. Your records-management and retention policies should determine what actually belongs in the system.Overall: The strongest value proposition is operational control. You can manage the entire matter lifecycle—intake, conflict clearance, scheduling, counsel communications, agreements, fees, documents, mediation preparation, conference status, reporting, and closure—from one case record. That becomes increasingly valuable as your mediation volume grows.

The primary drawback is that MyCase was built with law-firm workflows in mind, whereas you operate as a neutral. Some terminology, contact relationships, and workflows therefore need customization. You also need disciplined information governance so confidential mediation communications and mediator work product aren't unnecessarily mixed with routine administrative records. -

"Easy to use, great features" Posted 2026-08-31
Pros: The card vault is a lifesaver for our firm. We have the ability to run recurring payments without manually reinputting card information. The reports feature is easy to use and helps track our various accounts.
Cons: There isn't anything that I dislike about Lawpay. It is a great program!
Overall: Easy to use with a lot of great features. We have used other programs in the past and this one is far better.

"Organized, Convenient, and Makes My Workday Easier" Posted 2026-08-31
Pros: I love using 8am MyCase because it keeps my work organized and helps me clearly see what I need to do next. I especially like being able to incorporate and manage documents within the system. It makes completing my work quicker, easier, and more convenient. The time-tracking feature is also very helpful because it allows us to maintain a precise and accurate log of the time spent working on matters.
Cons: There are some features that may take a little time to learn and become familiar with when you first start using the system.
Overall: I am very satisfied with 8am MyCase. It has made my daily workflow much more organized and convenient. Having documents, tasks, and time tracking available within one system helps me stay on top of my responsibilities and complete my work more efficiently. I would recommend it to law firms and legal professionals who want a convenient way to organize their work and keep track of their time.

"Very satisfied, long time customer" Posted 2026-08-24
Pros: We are a very busy law firm and LawPay makes receiving payments so convenient and fast. And it's convenient and fast for the client as well, so a win-win. We never have any issues with the program, and it is so easy to do a refund if needed, to download reports, and find old transactions via the "history" section. It is a well created program.
Cons: I have no negative comment to make. This program is excellent and I recommend it to any business.
Overall: We are very happy with this program's abilities and high quality function. It is so easy to understand and use. We've been using LawPay for about 10 years and recommend it to all business people searching for the easiest way to handle payments.

"easy, secure way to track payments" Posted 2026-08-20
Pros: I like that you can track payments from clients and the options it gives for clients to pay. I also use Law Pay Pro, so I can keep track of my time and send bills to clients for even faster payment. I also like that they have options for trust and operating accounts, so you can keep everything separate.
Cons: There still isn't a spell check function in Law Pay Pro, so even though it will show you a misspelled word (underlined in red), there isn't a correction mechanism other than going back yourself. So, if there is a word that appears to be spelled correctly, but isn't the spelling you intended, you won't catch it.
Overall: It's been very easy to use and implement. It's made billing and collecting payments much easier and faster, and my clients have options to pay using e-checks, credit cards or Affinipay's loan option.

"The Era of Convinience" Posted 2026-08-19
Pros: As an accounting firm, we place a high value on reliability, security, ease of use, and professionalism when it comes to collecting payments from clients. CPACharge has proven to be a valuable payment-processing solution for our firm, particularly because it allows us to accept both credit card and electronic check (eCheck/ACH) payments in a manner that is convenient for our clients and efficient for our staff. From a client-service standpoint, convenience matters. Accounting clients are often busy business owners and professionals, and they appreciate being able to make a payment quickly rather than having to mail a physical check or coordinate payment over the phone.
CPACharge provides a more modern payment experience that fits well with the way clients expect to interact with professional-service businesses today.
Making the payment process straightforward also helps eliminate unnecessary back-and-forth between our staff and clients. The easier it is for a client to pay an invoice, the easier it is for our firm to keep accounts receivable moving.Cons: Electronic payments still need to be properly matched and reconciled with client accounts, but the overall process can be more efficient than handling paper checks.
Overall: Our experience with CPACharge has been very positive. Payment collection is an important part of running an accounting practice, and having a dedicated solution designed with accounting and professional-service firms in mind makes a meaningful difference.

CPACharge gives our clients multiple ways to pay, which is especially useful because different clients have different preferences. Some clients prefer the speed and convenience of paying by credit card, while others would rather use an electronic check. Having both options available makes it easier for us to accommodate our clients without requiring them to navigate a complicated payment process.
From the firm's perspective, the system has helped streamline the payment process and reduce some of the administrative effort traditionally associated with collecting client payments. -

Overall: My experience has been very good. I am so glad we switch to LawPay Pro! I would recommend this product if asked.

"CLIENT PAYMENTS VIA PORTAL" Posted 2026-07-31
Pros: Clients can immediately see why their payment isn't going through and fix it and the portal is simple so, less confusion, more successful payments. The added ability to pay online via check is a game-changer. From the other side, I like that it's a better looking receipt, a simple access, and connects seamlessly with MyCase.
Cons: I don't like that I don't seem to have individual profiles with all the information on one client, in one place. I don't like that I can't search by file number and that the file number isn't a required field. I wish that there was a more efficient way to look up information by the client to find all transactions or scheduled transactions.
Overall: Overall experience is mixed. We're still new at it so it's okay but, as our content grows, it will get more difficult to research client specific reports and transactions. I like this products a lot but need more instruction and more client-specific features.

"Great practice management system" Posted 2026-07-27
Pros: Fully integrated, has nearly all of the tools you need to run a professional services firm's practice. Support is super-fast, and they take care of issues quickly, if they arise.
Cons: Missing a few minor features, like booking links which I have to incorporate from other vendors.
Overall: I've been a user of MyCase for 3-4 years, as a solo practitioner. I find that it's great for managing customer and case details, handling time entry and invoicing, reconciling accounting ledgers to cash accounts, and allowing for e-signature on contracts.

"LawPay Continues to Raise the Bar for Legal Payment Processing" Posted 2026-07-23
Pros: We've had an excellent experience using LawPay and have found it to be one of the most reliable and user-friendly payment solutions available for law firms.
The customer support team is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, making it easy to resolve questions or issues quickly. The platform itself is intuitive for both our staff and our clients, which has streamlined our payment process and reduced the need for assistance.
One of the things we appreciate most is that LawPay continues to innovate. They are constantly introducing new features and enhancements that improve the overall customer experience. In addition, their frequent online training sessions and live webinars are extremely helpful for keeping firms informed about new tools and best practices.
Another standout feature is the integration with Affirm financing, which gives our clients greater flexibility when paying for legal services. This has been a valuable option for many of our clients. We also appreciate that LawPay waives the program fee, helping to keep overall costs reasonable.Cons: The only downside we've encountered is the fee structure for eCheck transactions. While the fee is capped at $5.00, the additional 1% charge seems unnecessarily high for a payment method that involves minimal processing costs. We'd love to see LawPay eliminate this fee altogether, as doing so would make an already outstanding service even better.
Overall: Overall, we highly recommend LawPay to any law firm looking for a secure, dependable, and continually evolving payment platform. Their commitment to customer service, ongoing innovation, and ease of use makes them an excellent partner for legal practices.

"CPAcharge WOW!" Posted 2026-07-21
Pros: Wow, I was skeptical on this process, but I now see how I can get rid of my credit card machine & email invoices to clients that can even pay the invoice ONLINE on their own phones.
1.) No need for a credit card machine.
2.) A CPAcharge invoice can be prepared, sent in an email with my normal bill for services as an0 attachment.
3.) Clients seem to like the email rather than having to use a credit card reader.
Thank you...Cons: I signed up over 6 months ago and did not see until recently how CPAcharge could have worked to increase my Billing and Collection process on many clients.
Overall: Awesome Service & the Billing/Invoice Dashboard is now even easier to make use of. I wish I made use of CPAcharge sooner and followed my business partner' lead on the implementation of this service and Great Billing/Collections tool.

"LAWPAY EFFICIENT AND USER FRIENDLY" Posted 2026-07-20
Pros: I love the ease of utilizing LAWPAY for processing payments in our firm. The system provides transparency and also the report feature is a bonus that we rely on each day to show a snapshot of how our small practice is thriving!
Cons: One con would be any e-checks are on a delay and not visible in a daily report.
Overall: LAWPAY is user friendly and compatible across all of our firm's functions! I would highly recommend this payment software to any law firm as it displays daily reports and the firm always has a pulse on incoming payments processed daily. "Great Tool" Posted 2026-07-17
Pros: The ease of this program, once you get integrated, and how easy it is to track billable items and its organization of all client information.
Cons: The integration period is a little complicated especially if you have never used an actual system for a law office and have strictly used only a Microsoft system for everything.
Overall: I think that once you get past the first month of integration it's very easy to use. We are still learning more every day. I do wish there was more hands-on learning rather than support by phone or even an in-person class closer to our area.
