About

Instantly create as many email addresses as you need - each associated with their own group of contacts. Share addresses with anyone, but keep your real email address private. Stop telecom companies, governments, and hackers from seeing with whom you communicate. Each virtual mailbox is automatically set up with 4096-bit GPG and S/MIME encryption keys and certificates. All email stored at MsgSafe-io is encrypted. You can manage the encryption profile for each contact you communicate with. Protect your entire family or organization by managing all identities and email addresses with the domain you already own. If you don’t own a domain, you can use our domain registration services to purchase a domain integrated with MsgSafe-io and privacy protection. You don’t trust FaceTime, Skype, Duo, Hangouts and similar services hosted by companies like Apple, Microsoft and Google? Try our secure and private audio and video services. You can invite people to call you from a browser link.

About

Fast, simple, secure. Privacy that fits in your pocket. Send high-quality group, text, voice, video, document, and picture messages anywhere in the world without SMS or MMS fees. Signal messages and calls are always end-to-end encrypted and painstakingly engineered to keep your communication safe. We can't read your messages or see your calls, and no one else can either. Keep your chat history tidy with messages that you can set to disappear. Choose different disappearing message intervals for each conversation. Everyone in the thread shares the same setting. Good memories will last even if the words vanish. Signal is made for you. As an Open Source project supported by grants and donations, Signal can put users first. There are no ads, no affiliate marketers, no creepy tracking. Just open technology for a fast, simple, and secure messaging experience. The way it should be.

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • Unlimited spam email creation so you can throw out email addresses as they're spammed. Also, you don't have to use another company to manage spam email address--you can do this directly in MsgSafe.
  • Can create as many anti-spam email accounts as needed. Once an email account is spammed, you can delete it and create another one so that you never have to worry about the email limit. MsgSafe, from what I've learned, is a zero-knowledge provider--they don't hold our encryption keys. They also strip emails of metadata like IP address so companies... can't track you easily. More, they're based OUTSIDE the dread anti-privacy 14 Eyes (including US, Captain Spy) so courts can't FORCE MsgSafe to compromise law-abiding citizens' privacy.
  • Identity creation is fast and easy. Users can create new identification in a matter of minutes. Lots of domains to choose from for addresses.

Cons

  • Customer service doesn't respond to messages. No email warnings about service discontinuation.
  • Small caveat: The service advertises a secure, encrypted audiovisual chat feature, but this is nowhere on the email home page. I've reached out to support, but, as usual, over a week later, they haven't gotten back to me. Why advertise such a critical feature and then either hide its availability OR take it down? Huge caveat: MsgSafe doesn't offer 2FA, so if a remote agent gets your password, they now control your account. It's unbelievable that ANY company that cares about consumer privacy wouldn't immediately offer 2FA so consumers can lock down our accounts. At least offer what other companies have been offering for over a decade now--2FA via a phone authenticator app (like Authy). Better--integrate FIDO/FIDO2 security keys.
  • There are no instructions about how to manage identities anywhere. Can't reply to an email from email support, as a way to contact it. Company hidden from users. Which, is not a good thing.. Can't switch between email accounts easily, or delete identity without instructions. Several email programs will not let me use email addresses with its domains. Not even those ending in ".com".

Pros & Cons from Real Users

Pros

  • It offers text, video and audio communication to shat in contact with family and colleagues. It's also has a mobile platform. Group chats are easy to add and share with the community.
  • Free & Open source Provides end to end encryption Group chat and video calling 'Disappearing messages' feature Complete privacy - No IP or data logs No ads or trackers - No data collection Available across platforms and mobiles

Cons

  • It worked great for me. Nothing to share about cons.
  • It requires a working phone number to sign up - it should be allowed to work with email for better privacy and accessibility. Apart from that it is a great app with no cons.
