Pros: Many years ago, for some offbeat reasons, even though I am not technically savvy, I started my own personal website using a top-level domain, wonderprofessor.com. I forget why I chose Inmotion Hosting but I am sure glad that I did. The service has been rock solid. And more importantly, whenever I have run into brick walls -- and that has been often -- they have always helped me to overcome the obstacles.

Cons: To be honest, I can not think of any items that would constitute a downside to using their service. In 16 years, none of my students have ever complained about any downtime. Personally, I haven't noticed any downtime, either. And as mentioned, their tech support has been very helpful to me whenever needed.

Overall: My experience with InmotionHosting has been totally positive. As mentioned, I do not believe that my website has experienced any downtime in approximately 16 years. Also, when I have been in need of technical support, their staff has gone out of their way to help me. Recently, my website was the subject of a Denial Of Service attack. (Why anyone would want to attack my silly little website that does no commerce whatsoever is beyond me. It just houses the class materials for my students.) The tech support staff at Inmotion Hosting patiently helped me fend off the attack and get the website up and running again. Thanks, Inmotion Hosting!

Pros: Ian B. and Kyle A. exemplify exceptional technical support - patient, knowledgeable, forward-thinking, and genuinely invested in client success. Ian B. guided me through a complex 8.76 GB migration completely blind (no screen sharing!) with remarkable precision. Kyle A. babysat our cPanel restoration overnight. InMotion's team doesn't panic, doesn't oversell, and doesn't give up. They find a way. Mission Control couldn't have done better! 🎯

Cons: Initial migration support could be clearer about all available options. First contact suggested a third-party FTP client which proved difficult to configure, and a paid $199 migration service was offered before free restoration alternatives were fully explained. Once connected with the right technical support representative, everything was resolved efficiently and professionally. Clearer upfront communication about all available migration paths would significantly reduce customer stress during an already challenging transition.

Overall: When I found myself in the middle of a critical website migration, I felt exactly like the Apollo 13 astronauts - CO2 was seeping in, systems were failing, and I desperately needed someone to help me jury-rig a solution before everything went dark.

My "CO2" was an 8.76 GB cPanel backup file that needed to get from my old host to InMotion, and every tool I tried was failing me one by one. My website had been down for days. My business emails weren't working. My film, TV and Broadway producing partner's emails were going into spam. Mission failure seemed imminent.

Then, Ian B. 🌟 at InMotion Technical Support came on the line.

Like those NASA engineers who dumped every available tool on the table and said "figure it out," Ian B. gave me exactly what I needed - FTP credentials, clear direction, and the confidence to find my own solution.

Pros: 24 hr support, not just someone who says we'll get back to you, support that rolls up their sleeves, digs in and gets the issue taken care of in a very pleasant friendly manner. They respect their customers, they don't look down on them. Flawless hosting, my dedicated server has been running for 11 months without issue. Set up was touchy but on my part, not theirs. I needed a little extra hand holding and was given exactly what was needed. It is such a pleasure doing business with them as they value a business relationship.

Cons: I honestly can not think of any. We were set up and running quickly, only had a couple of changes due to the specific nature of our applications.

Overall: Once I get everything moved over I'll be saving over $500 a month from my current provider and I am really looking forward to that day. Having worked with many hosting companies for over 2 decades it so nice to find one that does it right.

Pros: InMotion Hosting has been absolutely fantastic for my needs. The performance is extremely reliable, the speeds are great, and everything works exactly as it should. It is a very good service overall and I am highly satisfied.

Cons: I honestly do not have any cons to report at this time. The service has been completely fantastic and meets all of my expectations perfectly without any issues whatsoever.

Overall: My overall experience with InMotion Hosting has been nothing short of excellent. It provides exactly what I need with top-notch performance and consistency. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very good and fantastic web hosting provider.

Pros: I've been with InMotion Hosting for about 7 years, and so far great service. Don't think there was a single downtime.
As I'm not an IT guy, I ran into some hiccups but there was always someone available to help out sort out any challenge. The longes I have waited was about 7-10 min for a tech to come on chat.

Cons: Wish the server was closer to my location, but for a small business it's good enough. Not sure I really notice any slowdown.

Overall: Overall, this feels like a solid company and so far I have no complains. Really simple to get started.

Pros: The Solutions team really are experts in Dedicated Server support and in WordPress as a whole. The support I have received from them has saved hours of research and troubleshooting, and their quick resolutions has most likely saved me from losing a client or two.

Cons: During my initial dedicated server setup, I worked with multiple general support staff members who added small pieces for stability.

Overall: The InMotion Solutions Team gives me confidence that my decision to partner with them for all of our clients was the right decision. While it took some time to identify and integrate the elements that has brought stability to the server with nearly 100 mostly WordPress websites, the server has been stable and lightning fast.

Pros: InMotion Hosting is always professional and friendly in helping with any issue at all. IMH exemplifies what customer should be in any market and I am very proud to have been with IMH for more than 15 years.

Cons: Not a single con. IMH is always available to quickly and professionally resolve any issue that I may have!

Overall: Through the years, I have used many hosting providers but none have provided the consistent and world-class support as IMH. The very best products and services at very competitive pricing. I am a proud member of the IMH family!

Pros: Their tech support team is phenomenal. 24/7, US based, friendly, polite, efficient, and don't quit until the problem is resolved.

Cons: I wish they would have recommended upgrading my server sooner. All of the issues I did have went away when I upgraded.

Overall: I call or chat with them frequently (but not as often now, since I upgraded my server). I wish all tech support was as easy to reach and to work with as InMotion's is.

Pros: Inmotion Hosting has the smartest support techs. It really makes a difference when time is important. Alway friendly too.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like. There are no cons. That says a lot.

Overall: I gave them five stars because there is no other hosting company that can do what InMotion Hosting can do.

Pros: I have been with InMotion for about four years. I am thrilled with the services that I received.

I believe their customer service is fantastic, which is one reason I stay; I know I can find hosting cheaper elsewhere, but the customer service keeps me with them.

Cons: Love all for now! So far, I cannot complain at all. If there was an issue, i would say.

Overall: I would highly recommend the company for anyone looking to host a site!

Pros: I have three accounts on slightly different packages with inMotion. They all provide the maximum benefits for the monthly costs. I've only had issues on one account with the auto installation of the free SSL certificates. Their support system is responsive and effective.

Cons: I have one account with about 24 domains attached. The auto SSL doesn't always update for each of the domains. Because InMotion does this update once a month, and at a different time of the month for each domain, I don't know it is an issue until my client contacts me. InMotion's SSL tool fixes the problem quickly, but it would be nice to either have the SSL renew once a year or have them renew at the same time each month so they could easily be monitored.

Overall: My experience with InMotion has been very positive. As I have stated, the customer service is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Pros: Sites are always up when we need them. Great 7x24 technical support. Wide range of web and application expertise. Always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are running at maximum efficiency.

Cons: It would be nice if all domains had their own root in the www file system. There is one root domain in the file system and the root files for all other domains are below the main root.

Overall: Every time over the last 6 years I've had a problem with one of my websites, InMotion support is available 7x24 to diagnose and fix the issue, even those created by my inadvertent changes to the site. They've restored from backups, rolled back versions. Things that would have taken me time to learn in just minutes.

Pros: UP time is virtually 100% the very few times I had issues or questions, they were promptly and satisfactory solved.
The fact their cost are low is another plus, is it not?

Cons: Nothing at the moment comes to mind as a negative.

Overall: Excellent service I would only repeat it works well, reliable, low cost and many options should I wish to do more.

Pros: I switched from one of the "big boys" in hosting to InMotion Hosting - this was now years ago. I've stayed because their service is fast, reliable AND when I have a question, they are THERE TO HELP (and often go above and beyond.) A truly superior company.

Cons: None.

Pros: Is the best support that I know.
Efficient cpanel.
Can have different servers sellers, VPS, dedicated with a same account and can be administrator in different panels and in independence form.

Cons: It's a little expensive but it's the best hosting service that I ever used.

Overall: Is expensive but each detail in the client service is efficient.
In 10 years, I only experience 3 o 4 times lost connection for a few hours in my servers.

Pros: Unwavering reliability, excellent control panel packed with an array of tools and software applications as well as very competitive pricing.

Cons: I don't have any suggestions for improvement. The services, support, tools and applications provide everything I need.

Overall: InMotion Hosting isn't just a hosting provider; it's a partner in success. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking top-notch hosting services.

Pros: I've really enjoyed working with dedicated server support, they've helped me so much when I was in a bind (and I am truly grateful). I haven't had much need for triage because their products are well built and work as promised... plus, I'm not doing crazy things to "break stuff". Highly recommend their dedicated services for servers.

Cons: I was charged once more money over a couple of months without knowing it was going to happen, there was a price increase without warning. They did, however, correct the issue and ultimately I ended up going with a newer product that was less expensive than holding onto my legacy package. So that may be a downside, they'll up-charge you when they want you to move to a new product they're pushing (and you're on an old legacy product they want to get rid of and not support anymore).

Overall: Great value for the money, I love that they're not spammy and answer all my questions when I call in. They've been pretty quick thus far, longest request I had was a server migration (it was quicker to do it myself vs wait for their team to have time to do it... they have a lot more customer now then before).

Pros: Super friendly and helpful tech support team. I've had to approach them a couple times when changing pcs and forgetting how to set everything up.

Cons: Not happy with the interface for the emails. They were helpful in getting me set up in Windows Mail, but now that I see we're forced to move to Outlook, and I've heard it doesn't support many email addresses.

Overall: The tech support is everything for this not-so-technical website owner. Good pricing, and automated billing.

Pros: Hosting's amp is practical, very easy to use. Offers are great for non-profits. Most of all, tech support is very responsive. Chat and emails are very well responded to, especially if there are issues. Among other hosts we use, InMotion Hosting is our top 1.

Cons: A bit pricey, especially after the initial offers but has to be manageable eventually if planned out the sustainability after the three-year initial purchase.

Overall: Very helpful reps, service is always up, secure, and easy to use for newbies. All the needs are on here so no need to worry about setting up sites.
