    "The BEST provider!"

    Pros: The service by InMotion Hosting is great both through the live and the chat support. I recommend this company highly.

    Cons: They decided to forego the 24-hour live service and not offer it on weekends either. We weren't even informed of it, whereas I think we should've been sent an email about it. Not even one word. I hope the upper management changes its policy and informs customers about such important matters. Having said that, I am still very grateful for the great service they've been able to provide. They go above and beyond the call of duty to help and fix things. Their support staff are competent and knowledgeable. Overall, I couldn't be happier. :)

    Overall: Excellent. No complaints of any sort at all. InMotion Hosting is the absolute best provider among a few I've dealt with over the last 20 years. Bar none!

    Pros: I literally like everything about InMotion. I've been a customer for some 14 years. In that time, I've set up a number of small businesses with sites on their service as well as a number of my own. Everyone is quite happy with them. Their site is easy to navigate, is full featured, well-designed. But what I love the most about them is their support. Best support I've ever experienced. They saved me on a Thanksgiving day when I got in over my head. They really go the extra mile and are always patient. They are truly the foundation that a lot of the work I do sits on, so their reliability is essential.

    Cons: I've wracked my brain and can't come up with one. I don't think I've ever come away with a bad experience. None of the people/small companies I've ever set up with them has had a single problem or complaint.

    Overall: Of all the tech companies I deal with (and I've dealt with many) InMotion is my number one favorite--and a lot of that is the support staff. Whoever hires that crew and whoever manages them deserves a lot of credit. InMotion may be the best tech recommendation I ever received and I'm happy to pass that recommendation along.

    Pros: I use technology often, but I am a content provider, not a techie. As I see it, technology and my car are one and the same. I require both to live my life and conduct business, but I have limited knowledge of what's under the hood. Reliability and outstanding service are why I choose InMotion Hosting to host multiple websites for my clients and my communication needs. The service people at InMotion Hosting are phenomenal. For close to two decades, I have called upon the company's technical support team for assistance and have consistently encountered individuals who are attentive, courteous, competent, and kind. In an era where too many businesses are turning to robots and AI to interact with customers, it is wonderful to talk with another human being and get the service I need -- and sometimes service I didn't know I needed. I will continue to be with InMotion Hosting because they operate with the knowledge that business begins and ends with people.

    Cons: This is not really a con, but I hope InMotion Hosting will continue to develop learning guides and videos that explain various components and operations for customers, like me, who are not tech-savvy.

    Pros: USA based support and easy to contact.
    Support is very helpful and goes out of their way to help.
    Speed for VPN is good.
    Good online database of FQA and knowledge.
    Uses C-Panel.

    Cons: Moved to a ticket only system so cannot call.
    Renewal rates are way above initial rates and higher than competition.
    Unwilling to negotiate on renewal prices.

    Overall: Overall its been a positive experience but just wish there was more flexibility in their renewal program. Several times I contacted to try and negotiate what was a market rate, they insisted on a renewal price way above the initial price and above the market for similar services.

    Pros: I have built my first website a couple of years ago and I chose InMotion Hosting. I had numerous challenges on the way and I could reach out anytime for help to their customer service stuff. I have got the help and guidelines I needed to deal with my problems. They have very good and detailed instruction videos to show you the solution for everything!

    Cons: I am not an expert so I can't judge the company. Sure they have some areas to become better but for me it is all good.

    Overall: Good price, great customer service, they helped me fast and correctly. No downtime, good communication.

    "If all companies/orgs had such great customer service..."

    Pros: We would all live in peace and harmony. I do not update my sites very often, so sometimes I forget over the long interims how to do things. Every time I call for help, the tech support staff is so patient with me, and never condescending. I also appreciate that they seem to have a lot of female techs. While the guys are always quite respectful at InMotion specifically, that is not the case everywhere. So I always hate having to run to guys for tech help. It makes me feel small, and frustrated about socialization around tech. Whenever a female tech staff helps me, I am cheering inside. We will get there, grrrrls!

    Cons: I can probably get cheaper hosting at this point. I have had this hosting company for over 15 years, when there were fewer options, and I had to host video on my own server! No YouTube or Vimeo back then. Because they have been so helpful, reliable, and available for support, though, I have never bothered shopping for a cheaper option.

    Overall: I love InMotion! Patient, friendly tech support. Never condescending. Have used this company for over 15 years.

    Pros: They really work hard to keep everything up and running. I've had phone assistance and also used chat, and it's always been a positive experience. Our website went down and we weren't able to figure out exactly what happened. We suspected a hack but weren't sure. The InMotion guys went above and beyond to help me get everything back online. The assistance with email questions has been very good as well.

    Cons: There is some variance in how knowledgable the team is, and sometimes there is a long wait in the queue, but they always strive to make your experience as good as possible.

    Overall: Overall, I would highly recommend InMotion to anyone looking for hosting services. The availability 24-7 is on point for our business. We have a small staff and having the InMotion help when we need it is great.

    Pros: The tech support is phenomenal. Any issue that came up they were dedicated to solving it, and they did. The site is fairly easy to use. They have all kinds of information about so many different topics, very helpful. The price is very good for what you get. Also I didn't even realize until recently that I could host more than one domain on my plan, and I already thought I was getting a great deal with just the one!

    Cons: A couple times I had website issues after the SSL cert was installed, but they fixed it.

    Overall: Overall, InMotion is a fantastic company with great features and excellent support, and I would highly recommend them.

    Pros: I've been with InMotion Hosting for literally more years than I remember... probably something like 20. Support requests have always been handled promptly and effectively, and my domains (now down to one) have never been down or been breached.

    Cons: Many of the help pages are either dead links or inaccurate/outdated. That is really my only complaint.

    Overall: I had a website for a while, but have removed that, and my sole use currently is for email services.

    Pros: Everything about InMotion Hosting - I believe I have been with them about 20 YEARS!! They have never failed!!!
    Wait times -?? I rarely need to fix anything - so I'm not sure - but it always seems quick.

    Did I mention "Native English " instead of English as a second language

    Cons: The only possible negative: I have so few problems that when I do find one, it takes me longer to get up to speed (since I haven't gone through the "mistake steps" recently.

    Overall: I have had a great relationship with InMotion Hosting - But when I have a problem (rarely) they are always right there with an answer. Whether it was when I changed one of my websites to WP - they were quick to help - They always had an answer for any problem.. When I wanted to sell my book online, they figured how to do that.

    They were always quick to find a solution. When Dreamweaver, stopped supporting one of my sites, - InMotion Hosting came up with a solution. They are the BEST! what else do I need to say?

    Pros: Uptime has been 100% for at least the past year and most of the time that I have been a customer which has now been so long I don't even remember. The support is premium! I always use their live chat. The wait for the chat is usually about 5 minutes but has been up to about 15 or 20 minutes. Support is very knowledgeable and go above and beyond to help me with WordPress-related issues, renewal, and more. I sometimes feel bad to ask what may seem like dumb questions but support has helped me through it all. Before InMotion Hosting I have used 2 other hosts who were cheaper but not worth the frustration.

    Cons: I live in Japan, the poor exchange rate is making my hosting service more expensive as the years go on. Of course, not fault to InMotion Hosting :)

    Overall: Excellent uptime and support! I always recommend InMotion Hosting to friends who are looking for a new host.

    Pros: The stand out feature of InMotion Hosting must be their support. Their technical assistance team is second to none. On the odd occasion something isn't quite working, support is there to fix the issue and provide guidance for future reference. Their ability to understand your needs is so good. This good be for when you want to upgrade or downgrade products or when you need them to understand the issues (which are usually user issues) that are being faced - and rectify these quickly and without fuss.
    I you want comfort that you'll be looked after and have support and assistance when you need it - InMotion Hosting is your provider.

    Cons: Not a lot of cons can be thought of. I have really only had good experiences on all fronts - which is very unusual for businesses today!

    Overall: Overall, hosting is something you just want to work without headaches. Almost a set and forget type thing. InMotion Hosting provides this - and when you do need them, most importantly, they are there to help and there to help quickly. No task seems too big or too small and no effort is too great to make sure you get a great outcome.

    Pros: Amazing, prompt support service. Since I live in Australia, I don’t have to worry about the time difference. The live chat is always available with friendly, helpful agents to assist.

    The Support Center holds over 5,000 articles and guides, so if you want to search a help system before getting in contact with an agent, there’s plenty of information, tailored to InMotion’s services.

    A backup service is available for an extra fee that gives peace of mind that my sites will be regularly copied and can be recovered at any time. I can set how often the backup runs so the service is tailored to my routine.

    Cons: Since I’m in Australia, my website runs slightly slower for me and my clients than I presume it would in the US. Having said that, a helpful support agent suggested I use CloudFlare to fix the situation and walked me through the process of setting it up. There was also tailored help information on the InMotion site about the settings needed.

    The price for hosting is a bit more than I would like to pay, but the quality of the help provided keeps me renewing.

    While InMotion Hosting can be used to register domains like .com and .net, since they are based in the USA, they are not set up to register domains from other countries, and therefore cannot provide domains like .com.au and .au.

    Overall: I’m someone who knows enough to get myself into problems but not enough to get myself out. With InMotion Hosting I don’t need to worry. I just hop on a live chat, explain my problem, and work with the support agent to get things running smoothly. I feel safe knowing I’m not going at things alone.

    While I’m paying a bit more than I would like for the service, I know that everything is customizable in the Account Management Panel and that if I get stuck, an agent will walk me through what I need to do in order to get things running smoothly again.

    Pros: I've used InMotion hosting since 2007. I've called in to InMotion a few times each year, and each time, the customer service is incredible. The person who speaks to me always speaks clear English, and always figures out a way to solve my issue, no matter how much time it takes.

    Cons: I haven't found any cons. This is a great product.

    Pros: InMotion Hosting has been our internet host for around 20 years. Initially, they were hosting both our website, built in Joomla, and our emails. I subsequently moved the website to another host and web builder platform because I needed something I could easily update quickly. We continue to use InMotion Hosting for our emails and our Wordpress blog, largely because the customer service has always been outstanding. In today's online environment, it's hard to connect directly with a live person via phone or even chat. The tech support and billing staff are all professional, responsive and easy to work with. I have been recommended InMotion Hosting as an internet host for years and will continue to do so.

    Even though they've changed their tech support hours from 24/7 for phone, chat and email, the support team is responsive to emails received over a weekend.

    The CPanel is also easy to navigate and InMotion Hosting provides steps to set up email forwarding to our phones and desktop Outlook clients. InMotion Hosting also has lots of great reference articles to educate novice users.

    Cons: InMotion Hosting recently changed their tech support hours providing phone and chat support only Mon-Fri from 9 am-9 pm Eastern instead of 24/7. While they do still offer email ticket support 24/7, sometimes, you just need to speak with someone on a weekend.

    Overall: Overall, I highly recommend InMotion Hosting. I tried using another platform for email and quickly switched back to InMotion Hosting. If InMotion Hosting offered an easy drag-and-drop builder (like Wix) that is NOT based on Wordpress, I would move my website to InMotion Hosting just because of the excellent tech support.

    Pros: We have tried multiple servers in the past. The customer service team is awesome! They support Wordpress very well. They communicate updates or issues via email. Phone and chat support are the best!
