Metered TURN is a global TURN-as-a-Service for WebRTC applications. A TURN server relays audio, video, and data whenever a direct peer-to-peer path can't be established — the common failure mode behind symmetric NATs, corporate firewalls, and carrier-grade NAT.
Metered runs a dedicated TURN network across 31+ regions and 100+ edge PoPs, with a sub-30 ms median relay latency, a 99.999% uptime target, and per-account bandwidth analytics. It speaks STUN, TURN, and TURNS (TURN-over-TLS) on ports 80 and 443, over UDP and TCP, so it clears restrictive networks. Credentials are delivered dynamically over REST so they drop into any WebRTC stack in minutes.
