About
Lejar is cloud-based double-entry accounting software for Malaysian small businesses, sole traders, freelancers and accounting firms. It provides a general ledger, sales invoices and quotations, bills, bank-statement import and reconciliation, financial reports, multi-currency accounting, fixed-asset depreciation and multi-company ledgers. Its AI Inbox reads receipts and bills, extracts line items and drafts journal entries against the chart of accounts; Ask Lejar can draft invoices and bills from chat. Users review and approve each AI-generated draft before it is posted. Lejar includes an MPERS-aligned chart of accounts, bi-monthly SST-02 return tools and MyInvois e-invoicing. The browser-based service offers a free plan and paid tiers, with features such as SST returns, multi-currency and fixed-asset tools on paid plans. REST and MCP API access is available on the Pro plan.

About
Mercury Books is full double-entry accounting software built directly into a Mercury account, bringing banking and books together so financial records stay complete, current, and accurate. It automatically captures activity across Mercury banking, cards, invoicing, and bill pay, then categorizes transactions and reconciles accounts in real time without manual imports, exports, or data entry. Businesses can choose between cash and accrual accounting and generate profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet reports using current numbers. External bank accounts, credit cards, and financial platforms such as Stripe, PayPal, and Gusto can also be connected to provide a more complete view of the business. Command AI adds an intelligent layer to accounting work, allowing users to ask questions about spending, trends, and general ledger codes using their account data. It can also handle tasks such as writing journal entries, organizing the chart of accounts, and categorizing transactions.
