Lejr is double-entry accounting software for small businesses. It runs as a web app with an AI assistant built in, and it optionally connects to outside assistants like Claude, so you can ask about your books and make changes in plain language instead of clicking through menus.
The ledger is real accounting. Every entry balances before it saves, corrections point back to the original instead of overwriting it, and every change is logged.
Bank and card feeds connect through Plaid. Transactions land in a review queue with suggested categories, and can be split, matched to open invoices and bills, or paired as transfers. Lejr also handles estimates, invoices, bills, customers, vendors, documents, fixed assets and depreciation, mileage, loans, and sales tax. Reports include the balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, trial balance, general ledger, and A/R and A/P aging.
