About Zemam
Zemam (زمام), or Zemam ERP, is a cloud ERP from Smartly Coded, built for small and mid-sized businesses in Egypt and the MENA region. Everything runs on one IFRS-compliant, double-entry ledger, so a single sale updates inventory, posts the accounting entry, and adjusts the customer balance at once — no double entry, no separate tools to reconcile.
It covers accounting, inventory (WAC/FIFO with batch and expiry across multiple warehouses), sales, purchasing, treasury, the full cheque lifecycle, installments, and multi-currency (IAS 21) — plus manufacturing, fixed assets, CRM, and HR & payroll. The point of sale for retail and restaurants runs fully offline and auto-syncs, and a near-complete mobile app puts the whole system on your phone.
Built for Egypt: VAT calculated after discount and native ETA e-invoicing. Fully Arabic (RTL) with English, multi-tenant isolation, role-based permissions, approval workflows, and a public API with webhooks. Start free — no credit card.
Pricing
The Core plan (Accounting, Sales, Purchases, and Inventory) starts at
1,500 EGP/month (~$30) and includes 3 users, 1 branch, and 1 warehouse.
Optional add-on modules can be added as needed: Point of Sale, HR &
Payroll, Multi-currency, Installments & Cheques, and Fixed Assets.
Extra users, branches, warehouses, and POS terminals are billed per unit.
Annual billing includes 2 months free. A free trial is available.

"Good ERP for daily business management" Edited 2026-07-12
Pros: What I like most is that everything is in one place. We use it for accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, HR, CRM, POS and the mobile app. The reports are clear and easy to understand, and this helped us follow our business better. The accounting module also made it easier to understand our numbers even without depending on an accountant all the time. The system is easy to use after the first learning period, and it saves us a lot of time because all modules are connected together.
Cons: The first setup took some time because it was our first ERP system. We also needed a short training to understand how everything works. Some screens have many options, so at the beginning it was a little confusing. After using it for a while, it became much easier.
Overall: Zemam helped us organize our daily work better. Before using it, we were spending more time following inventory, accounting and employee information manually. Now everything is in one system, which made tracking much easier and reduced mistakes. We also save time because we don't need to enter the same data in different places. It still takes some time for new users to learn all the features, but overall we are happy with the system and it works well for our business.

"Solid Arabic accounting system with ETA support" Posted 2026-07-10
Pros: What I like most is that it's built in Arabic from the start, not just translated, so my team learned it quickly. Everything is connected — when I make a sale, the inventory and the accounts update on their own. The Egyptian VAT and the e-invoicing (ETA) work without any extra hassle, and the support team actually replies in Arabic when I need them.
Cons: I'd like a few more ready-made report templates.
Some of the advanced settings I needed help from support to set up the first time.Overall: Overall it's been a good experience. It replaced two or three separate tools I was using before and gave me a clear picture of my business from one place. For a small or medium business in Egypt that needs proper Arabic accounting with VAT and e-invoicing, I'd recommend giving it a try.
