Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros I am very pleased with the ability to either manually enter timesheet hours or ask employees to clock in and out. Having all employee data in one place is an excellent resources, and I look forward to utilizing the benefits management portion of the platform to further streamline our onboarding process. Creating custom reports that can aggregate the needed data in one spreadsheet in minutes is also a feature I use regularly for many different HR tasks. GoCo has a sleek, easy to use interface. We get compliments often about how easy and straightforward GoCo has made the onboarding process, which makes a great first impression on new employees who are just joining our agency! It also has vastly cut down on the administrative burden of scanning and filing paperwork into employee personnel files. I like that all our on boarding processes are digital, organized, and user friendly. I really like how easy it is to start my hiring process. GoCo, an easy to use HRIS system, has allowed our employees to have a seamless onboard experience. So many previously antiquated tasks are now easy to accomplish. The interface is user friendly. Customer service is incredible. Always making improvements - I feel like my suggestions/feedback are heard. Cons The time off scheduling is difficult to manage with prorated part-time employees, as we have to create a new time off classification for each amount, whether they work 20 hours, 24 hours, 30 hours, or so on. We have a lot of part time personnel and this has made using the time off feature both time consuming and frustrating. Inability to edit benefit information as it changes (we switched dental plans mid-year and could not input this from the employer side at all), and also inability to find our carriers in the system, has made implementing benefits administration difficult. It is a little high priced for our non-profit budget. Some of the forms are not complete are can't be signed. Like the background check authorization. There is no field for my employees to sign. It's also a little clunky for the I-9 verification process. For instance, when the employees provide their social security card and ID in one area, I have to download and upload myself. The system is not aware that the documents have already been provided? As an HR admin, there is a lot to learn. Integration with payroll has been challenging, based on how we need to track employee hours for invoicing and billing, but this may be an anomaly of our company. There are a few things that don't integrate well with other products.	Pros & Cons from Real Users Pros º It has a very complete documentation and Namely guides or tutorials are extremely explanatory. In general, these types of platforms are very confusing or outdated with functions that are useful, but they are not well understood as they can really be applied and also with very few examples for practice. I would like not only HR platforms to be like this, but for any platform to provide a wide variety of information on how to apply each function in real life with different types of companies. º The Namely team is very professional and has always been there when I needed to solve a specific problem or function. I can say with certainty that no problem has been left in the air since everything has been successfully solved, thus allowing the work process to not stop when the human resources area is being managed. º For me, the reports that I have generated on this platform have been more complete than other similar platforms that are in the same area of work. In addition, it is very organized and if you want to customize it more, it is possible since it gives you the freedom to order, put or remove anything that is necessary or not, giving you more capacity to have a report that adapts to what the company needs. º It is very complete when you want to have a card for employees where time can be recorded, in addition to having the ability to edit them at any time in case of a setback or breaks are assigned such as vacations, days off or any illness that may have occurred. arisen to avoid confusion in case of thinking that there was a fault within the work time stipulated by the company. º It is very easy to get into this platform, it is very friendly both for the common user and also for the administrators, who have a very extensive control panel that allows them to manage whatever they want. I can also get an organization chart of the structures of different departments and know how they are constituted. Also when logging in I can see the colleagues who are or are not active in their work areas. The self-service model has been so helpful to our team members and our HR dept of 1. We have been able to keep everything secure while still providing our team members access to the necessary information they need. I like that the system is all in one. I can link to applicant tracking, onboard, Everify, house documents, complete reviews, manage benefits and keep employee information all in one place. I also love that this company continues to improve their product and communicates well about product enhancements and plans. The team is responsive and helpful when submitting a case. They really helped me a lot when I was new and they were patient. It has all I need in a way that is easy to use. I like the onboarding with the templates that can be sent that way for signatures. My Namely benefits rep was very helpful and I had direct access to him (poor guy). When I started at the company, I jumped right into open enrollment. Streamlined UI and integrations for all parts of employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, offboarding). Cons º It lacks customization in certain areas or simply the function it has when we want to add some resources has to be done manually in each user profile that the employee of the company has. This is a bit inconvenient due to the large number of people in my company and it takes time to be able to add some data or characteristic to each of the employee profiles. º I am having problems with time records for employees who are only working part time as well as time off requests for employees who are part time. This seems incomplete to me, having to record these times in another way so that there are no problems or confusion in the free hours that the employees have and it has not become entangled in whether it was a free time or they simply stopped working. º The search function is very slow and confusing, causing me not to use it very often until there is a performance update that fixes this problem. I would like them to improve this functionality since for me it is easier to be able to find something than to do it manually due to the large amount that is handled with a large number of company employees, it would be a solution that would further automate human resource management. º There is no chat tool per se, you can only ask for support which you get a ticket to wait for a response to any concerns you may have. I find it inconvenient to have to solve problems outside of this platform since communication here is the least instantaneous. It is possible to be like this, waiting for a response through tickets, but it would be better if there is the possibility of having an instant solution, this can be added as a tool within this platform. º The organization charts are the least intuitive that can be found on this platform, I would like them to change the design or also be more customizable in order to have everything more presentable for understanding the structure of the company with respect to each employee from different departments. I wish they integrated with more softwares. They have some but not a lot. There is a lot you can customize but there are a few things still a bit clunky at times. For example, I would like to be able to add as many one off additional compensation on a check without having to upload a specific document. Reporting is not super user friendly. There is no synch with PTO and payroll for those who do not fill out a timesheet. You can't just pick up the phone and talk to support when in a pinch (but there are options for urgent and call me if you need to - but I hesitate to use those). There are certain features hard coded in ways that don't make sense all the time, or labels that don't make sense (ex. classes should really be benefit classes). Another example would be our org's issues with using the timetracking functionality, we had to restructure our pay periods in order to use it instead of just being able to customize it.
